CONINCO Welcomes the Delegation from the Department of Irrigation – Ministry of Agriculture and Environment of the Lao PDR: Continuing the Journey of Vietnam – Laos Cooperation

On the morning of 17 July 2026, at the 11th floor of CONINCO Tower Headquarters, the Consultant and Inspection Joint Stock Company of Construction Technology and Equipment (CONINCO., JSC) formally welcomed and held a working session with the delegation from the Department of Irrigation under the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic (Lao PDR). The meeting provided an opportunity for both sides to strengthen their connection, share professional experience, and open up practical directions for cooperation in the fields of irrigation, technical infrastructure, and sustainable development.

The Lao delegation was led by Mr. Khamphachanh Vongsana – Director General of the Department of Irrigation; Mr. Anousone Khounsombath – Deputy Director General of the Department of Irrigation; and Mr. Vanxai Xaiyasouk – Head of the Operation and Maintenance Division.
Representing CONINCO were Dr. Ha Minh – Chairman of the Board of Directors; Ms. Le Thi Ngoc Bich – Vice Chairwoman of the Board of Directors; Mr. Nguyen Manh Tuan – Member of the Board of Directors and Deputy General Director; Mr. Le Thanh Minh – Deputy General Director; Mr. Le Nguyen Giap – Deputy General Director; Mr. Nguyen Luong Binh – Deputy General Director; Mr. Nguyen Dac Phuong – Deputy General Director, together with leaders of the Company’s departments and affiliated units.

In his welcome remarks, Dr. Ha Minh, Chairman of the Board of Directors, expressed his honor to welcome the delegation from the Lao Department of Irrigation to visit and work with CONINCO. Sharing about the Company’s journey of cooperation and development in Laos, Dr. Ha Minh stated that CONINCO has participated and is continuing to participate in many key infrastructure projects in Laos. He also expressed his hope that the Company would continue to receive the attention and support of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment as well as the Lao Department of Irrigation to facilitate the implementation of projects on schedule, ensure quality, and maximize investment efficiency.

Affirming the capability of Vietnamese construction consulting enterprises in the international market, Dr. Ha Minh stated that CONINCO has successfully cooperated in the implementation of numerous projects with partners from Japan, the Republic of Korea, Canada, the United States, and many other countries. With nearly half a century of accumulated experience and a team of highly qualified experts, CONINCO is ready to accompany its Lao partners in implementing infrastructure projects towards the goals of efficiency and sustainability.

In response, Mr. Khamphachanh Vongsana, Director General of the Lao Department of Irrigation, sincerely thanked CONINCO for its warm and thoughtful hospitality and highly appreciated the Company's contributions to the development of infrastructure in Laos over the years. He emphasized that CONINCO has been present and working alongside Laos since 2007, becoming a strategic and trusted partner of the Department of Irrigation and relevant authorities in the construction sector.

The Director General expressed his hope that both sides would continue to expand their cooperation in the coming years, making full use of the strengths and experience of each organization to overcome the challenges arising during project implementation. He also shared that the leadership of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment of Laos highly appreciates CONINCO's positive contributions to the successful completion of numerous infrastructure projects, thereby contributing to the socio-economic development of Laos.

In a warm and open atmosphere, the leaders of both sides exchanged commemorative gifts as a symbol of mutual appreciation and goodwill in building a long-term cooperative relationship.

The meeting concluded in an atmosphere of friendship, trust, and cooperation. The positive exchanges between the two sides not only contributed to strengthening the relationship between CONINCO and the Department of Irrigation under the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment of Laos, but also laid an important foundation for the two organizations to continue working together, capitalize on their respective strengths, and promote cooperation projects in the fields of infrastructure, irrigation, and sustainable development, thereby contributing to the socio-economic development of both Vietnam and Laos.
