CONINCO participes in Vietnam - Hungary business forum

HTQT_89_17_conincoOn September 25, 2017, Dr. Ha Minh - General Director of CONINCO together with Mr. Nguyen Huy Anh - Deputy General Director and Ms. Nguyen Thi Luc - Deputy Director of the M&E Center participated in the Vietnam-Hungary Business Forum organized by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) in coordination with the Hungary Trade House and the Hungarian Embassy. The Hungarian Prime Minister Orban Viktor and Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam attended and co-chaired the Forum.

Hungarian companies attending this forum are specialized in the fields of Agriculture, Mechanical engineering for agriculture, Agri-food processing, Agricultural waste disposal, Plant dismantling and construction, Heavy industry, Light industry, Manufacturing and supplying boiler furnace for heating system, Health care, Information and Technology, Banking, Architecture, Construction and building materials, Household goods, Aggregate business, Trade ...

At the forum, Dr. Ha Minh - General Director of CONINCO exchanged and shared information and experience with Hungarian companies operating in the field of architecture, construction and building materials, electrical equipment production such as: A-Hisd Ltd, Bervina Ltd, KOZTI Engineering & Architecture Co., Ltd., Pureco Ltd ... to update the latest information on investment incentive policies, cooperation opportunities in many potential fields between the two countries in general as well as between CONINCO and other Hungarian enterprises in particular.

Delivering his speech at the forum, Hungarian Prime Minister Orban Viktor affirmed "Vietnam will become a strategic partner and investment destination of Hungary in Southeast Asia". Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam also affirmed that the Government of Vietnam would create the most favorable conditions for Hungarian businesses to develop their trade and investment relations. Also in the forum, Hungarian Prime Minister Orban Viktor and Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam witnessed the signing of a number of cooperation agreements between the two countries in the field of water management, supporting small and medium enterprises.

In the coming time, the Government of Hungary will have many investment projects in Vietnam such as the Oncology Hospital in Can Tho; projects on water management technology; High-tech agriculture; Information and technology .... Recently, the Consortium of MAGYAR - VMD - BDCC - CONINCO - AZUSA signed a contract and has implemented the Package No. 1 of construction work for the Project of Can Tho Oncology Hospital. This project has been included in the Framework Agreement on Financial Cooperation between the two Governments with relatively high preferential conditions, demonstrating the goodwill of the Hungarian government and people.

Earlier, in the morning of September 25, 2017, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc received Hungarian Prime Minister Orban Viktor and witnessed the Signing Ceremony of cooperation documents in the fields of finance, culture, education, labor, information and communication technology and the partnership agreement between Can Tho City and Kávová city of Hungary. On this occasion, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc expressed his thanks to the Government of Hungary for helping Vietnam to build the Can Tho Oncology Hospital with preferential loans from Hungary. The Consortium of MAGYAR - VMD - BDCC - CONINCO - AZUSA also took part in the signing ceremony of cooperation documents between the two countries.

The project has been carried out and the results of the cooperation between the Governments of the two countries as well as the businesses of the Forum demonstrate the efforts of the government as well as the people of both countries in promoting the relationship of the two countries to a new development.

The investment project to build Can Tho Oncology Hospital has the scale of 500 beds. The total investment is nearly VND 1.8 trillion including the Hungarian Government's ODA loans amounted to €56.99 million (equivalent to nearly $1.4 trillion dong), accounting for 80.8% of the Hungarian government's total ODA investment. Reciprocal capital of Can Tho city is nearly VND 333 billion, accounting for 19.2%.

Can Tho Oncology Hospital is designed in the form of "hospital-hotel" with advanced equipment and oncology treatment methods to reduce costs and suit the affordability of people in the Mekong Delta. It will also be the leading center of research and training on oncology treatment in Vietnam.
