CONINCO ALFASI (AUSTRALIA): Moving to the engineering steel works

On March 17th, 2016, the delegation led by Mr. Le Thanh Minh - Deputy General Directorof CONINCO visited and worked at the headquarters of Alfasi Group in Melbourne (Australia).

Mr. Gill Dvir - Director of Alfasi Group (Australia), Mr. Brett Wight - Director of Alfasi Asia, Mr. Danny Burows – Director of Trade Worthy represented the Group to welcome the delegation.

On December 10th, 2015, Alfasi Group (Australia) visited and worked in CONINCO and opened up many cooperation opportunities in the future.

Currently, structural steel works has become popular in developed countries with great volume and requiring high technical requirements. However, in Vietnam, there has been few structural steel works and with low complexity. Recognizing the importance of structural steel works in the future, CONINCO expressed the wish to learn from the experiences of Alfasi then popularize and apply them in Vietnam.Alfasi Group also agreed to help Vietnam improve skills and fluently apply modern technologies in structural steel field .

The meeting took place in a cordial and open atmosphere. Both parties exchanged technical information as well as the projects having cooperation possibility in the near future; and promised to sign a special MoU on organizing conferences and seminars, training human resources, seeking cooperation market in the field of steel structure in the future.

Established in 1980, Alfasi Group is a big group in Australia, specializing structural steel field. Until now, Alfasi Group has fourcorporations, holding a strong position in the building, drafting, hiring, and property industries. In fact, Alfasi can complete the structural steel projects up to 32,000 tons and with high technical requirements such as Marina Bay in Singapore, Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre, Bangkok International Airport, Vietinbank's headquarters building in Hanoi …
