CONINCO and NIHON SEKKEI Sign MOU: Marking a New Chapter in Strategic Partnership

On the afternoon of April 8, 2025, at CONINCO headquarters, the comprehensive memorandum of understanding (MOU) signing ceremony between CONINCO and Nihon Sekkei took place in a solemn atmosphere, highlighting the strengthening partnership between the two companies. This is the second MOU in a fruitful partnership, following the success of the memorandum signed in 2020.

Attending the signing ceremony, from Nihon Sekkei Group were Mr. Masaki Mitsui - Executive Vice President of Nihon Sekkei Japan and Chairman of Nihon Sekkei Vietnam; Mr. Naoki Tominga - Executive Vice President of Nihon Sekkei Japan; Mr. Shuichi Ishikawa - Senior Director of the International Project Department; and Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Mai - Director of Nihon Sekkei Vietnam.
From CONINCO were Mr. Nguyen Van Cong - Chairman of the Board of Directors; Mr. Phan Ngoc Cuong - Board Member, General Director; Mr. Nguyen Dang Quang - Deputy General Director; Mr. Nguyen Luong Binh - Deputy General Director; and representatives of the Business Development Department and design unit.

Overview of the Signing Ceremony

Since cooperating in 2009, and formalizing the partnership with a memorandum of understanding in 2020, Consultant and Inspection Joint Stock Company of construction technology and equipment (CONINCO., Jsc) and Nihon Sekkei have, for over 15 years, successfully collaborated on numerous civil construction and urban development projects in Vietnam, such as: the Supreme People's Procuracy; MB Tower (Headquarters of MB Bank); the National Assembly House and the new Ba Dinh Hall; and Vietcombank Headquarters. Most recently, they won the First Prize for the master plan of Long Thanh airport city and surrounding areas, contributing significantly to improving the quality of construction projects and urban infrastructure in Vietnam.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mr. Phan Ngoc Cuong, General Director of CONINCO, affirmed that the relationship between the two companies is deepening through visits and working sessions at their respective headquarters in Vietnam and Japan. He expressed confidence that this relationship will develop even stronger in the future.

Mr. Masaki Mitsui also expressed his gratitude for CONINCO's cooperation and dedication in joint projects, noting that the achievements not only enhance the brand position of both companies but also contribute to the sustainable development of the construction industry in Vietnam and Japan.

Recognizing the effectiveness of their cooperation and the strengths of each company, the leaders of both sides agreed to upgrade and expand the comprehensive strategic partnership into urban planning, urban design concepts, and especially projects related to airport systems and high-speed railways. With a solid foundation of cooperation, the signing of the second MOU will be a stepping stone for the two sides to successfully approach and develop large projects in the future.

Concluding the ceremony, Chairman of the Board of Directors Nguyen Van Cong congratulated both companies on the successful signing of the second MOU and expressed his hope that they would continue to effectively implement current projects, actively exchange information, and expand cooperation in many new fields, contributing to the comprehensive development and modernization of Vietnam's urban infrastructure, paving the way for a sustainable and prosperous future.
