The event was attended by Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha, leaders of Central Ministries, Departments, and Hanoi City, along with professional associations. This is the most official, prestigious, and longest-standing award in the State award system for architecture, organized by the Vietnam Association of Architects, the Ministry of Construction, and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. On March 11, 2025, the People's Committee of Hai Phong City held a groundbreaking ceremony to launch the construction of the Ring Road No. 2 project, specifically the Tan Vu - Hung Dao - Bui Vien section. This project, with a total investment of nearly 7.5 trillion VND, spans the Hai An, Duong Kinh, and Kien An districts. It is a project of significant importance, poised to create a breakthrough in the city's socio-economic and urban development. The event also serves to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) and the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of Hai Phong (May 13, 1955 - May 13, 2025).
