CONINCO attended the Inauguration ceremony of Ethnic boarding high school in Xieng Khouang Province, Lao P.D.R.

On September 9th, 2013, the Inauguration ceremony of Ethnic boarding high school was held in Xieng Khouang Province, Lao P.D.R. This project was invested by the Socialist Republic of Vietnam with non-refundable aided capital. CONINCO was supervision consultant of the work construction.

Participating in the ceremony, Lao side included Deputy Minister of Training and Education and Lao Head of Project Management Board; Vietnamese side included Deputy Minister of Training and Education and Vietnamese Head of Project Management Board; guests of departments in Xieng Khouang province; and Contractors of the project.

As a mountain province in the middle of Laos, the development of education in Xieng Khouang Province has faced a lot of difficulties, the number of ethnic pupils is still low. Strengthening development of education and enhancing the quality of training ethnic pupils is an important goal of Xieng Khouang province. This is also one of the important goals in the strategy of educational development of Lao P.D.R.
 
This work has an important significance as a work to welcome Vietnam-Laos year of relationship, celebrate 50 years of establishment of Vietnam-Laos relation and 35 years of signing Vietnam-Laos Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation.

Some information of the project:
The work was constructed on a lad lot with 27,529 m2 of width. Total construction area was 4,286 m2.
Total floor area: 7.110 m2

- Head office,
- Studying building – Laboratory,
- Studying building - Library,
- Dormitory,
- Cantin,
Auxiliary works, for example, gate, duty house, multi-functional house, sports ground, parking lot, car parking lot, fence, infrastructure, power, outside water supply, etc.
