On 18 September 2025, the Seraphin Waste-to-Energy Power Plant was officially inaugurated in Hanoi. The project is recognized as one of the largest and most advanced waste-to-energy facilities in the region. The Technology Transferring for Construction and Environment Center (T.MT) and Center of International Cooperation and Consultancy (T.3C), under CONINCO, are proud to have contributed to the success of this landmark project in the roles of Design Verification Consultant and Construction Supervision Consultant.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Mr. Tran Sy Thanh, Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee, along with senior leaders of the City, representatives of central ministries and agencies, and project stakeholders. Representing CONINCO at the event was Mr. Le Nguyen Giap, Deputy General Director. The official commissioning of the plant marks a significant milestone in Hanoi’s sustainable development strategy and its long-term commitment to environmental protection.
Developed by AMACCAO Group, the project was completed within a record timeframe of just over three years. With a treatment capacity of 2,250 tonnes of municipal solid waste per day and an installed generation capacity of 37 MW of clean energy, the plant not only addresses Hanoi’s growing waste management demands but also converts waste into a valuable energy resource, contributing to the realization of the circular economy model.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Trong Dong, Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee, highlighted that the project provides a practical and effective solution to the City’s waste management challenges, marking a transition from traditional landfill disposal to modern, environmentally friendly technologies.
As the Design Verification and Construction Supervision Consultant, CONINCO deployed a team of experienced engineers and specialists, working closely with the investor and contractors to ensure strict compliance with approved designs and the highest quality standards. CONINCO’s professionalism, dedication, and technical expertise played a key role in quality control, safety assurance, and schedule optimization, enabling the project to be delivered on time, safely, and efficiently.
The successful completion of the Seraphin Waste-to-Energy Power Plant Project once again reinforces CONINCO’s strong position and proven capabilities in providing consultancy services for large-scale, technically complex projects. CONINCO remains committed to partnering with visionary investors to deliver sustainable, high-value infrastructure projects that contribute to national development.
