CONINCO organized a seminar to kick off the Passenger Terminal project - Long Thanh International Airport.

On July 24^th, 2023, Consultant and Inspection Joint Stock Company of Construction Technology and Equipment – CONINCO organized a seminar to kick off the Passenger Terminal project - Long Thanh International Airport. The purpose of the seminar was to disseminate information on the project's role, importance, and significance to the company's officials, increase understanding, and encourage company officials to participate in the project. This is one of the national key projects, with an international scale, complex technical requirements, and high professionalism and expertise in design and construction supervision. As the consulting unit responsible for reviewing the construction drawing design and project supervision, with the goal of ensuring maximum quality and safety for the project, CONINCO will concentrate its resources, regularly improve the quality of personnel, and closely connect to complete the important tasks at this key project. The seminar was held in person and online at the 11th floor conference room of CONINCO Tower, with the participation of Chairman of the Board of Directors Nguyen Van Cong, Board Member and Deputy General Director Nguyen Manh Tuan, members of the Executive Board, and interested officials.

At the seminar, representative of the Technical Management Department presented an overview of phase 1 of the Long Thanh International Airport project, the packages CONINCO participated in from 2019 to the present, the special requirements of the contract to review the construction drawing design and provide project supervision for the Passenger Terminal project - Long Thanh International Airport, the project's progress and construction process.

Phase 1 of the Long Thanh International Airport project has a scale that includes one runway and one passenger terminal, along with synchronized auxiliary items with a capacity of 25 million passengers per year and 1.2 million tons of cargo per year. The passenger terminal project is arranged in a centralized form, consisting of a central area and three wings. The terminal is designed with two separate arrival and departure levels, including a ground floor and three upper floors, with a total floor area of approximately 376,451.32 m2 and a roof height of 45.55 m. The terminal is technically complex, applied advanced technology and a modern, intelligent terminal model, which is convenient for passengers, suitable for investment in construction, management, and operation of the airport to ensure efficient operation and environmental friendliness. This aims to compete with international air cargo transit centers in the region. The Long Thanh International Airport passenger terminal is connected to almost all other items within the airport area; therefore, when implementing the project, the consulting unit and the design reviewer need to provide appropriate solutions to ensure the terminal's synchronized connectivity with the approved overall project.

The seminar provided an opportunity for CONINCO experts to discuss and propose new technical solutions to better meet customer needs. It also created a learning and professional exchange environment, enabling company officials to grasp new trends and apply them to consultancy work to enhance their professional capacity and the quality of project consultancy.

With the strong development of the construction industry and the high demand for construction quality, the role of consultancy is increasingly valued. CONINCO's participation in the task of providing consultancy and supervision (C&S) and reviewing the construction drawing design (CDD) for the Passenger Terminal project, component 3, in phase 1 of the Long Thanh Airport construction investment project, not only affirms the company's position and brand reputation but also creates opportunities for each engineer to develop their individual capacity and personal brand. The seminar is one of the important activities that help improve the effectiveness and work spirit of company officials, enhance their professionalism, and ensure the project implementation process achieves the highest efficiency.
