CONINCO senior leadership meets with Minister of Public Works and Transport of Laos: Strengthening friendship and promoting cooperation in strategic projects

Building on the positive outcomes of previous cooperation, on June 23, 2026, the high-level leadership delegation of CONINCO held a formal working session with the Minister of Public Works and Transport of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic. The event once again affirmed the company’s solid progress in its international market expansion strategy and the strengthening of bilateral relations.

On CONINCO’s side, the delegation was led by Dr. Ha Minh – Chairman of the Board of Directors; Mr. Nguyen Dang Quang – General Director; Mr. Le Nguyen Giap – Deputy General Director; Ms. Pham Thuy Linh – Manager of the Business Management Department; Ms. Do Thi Ngoc Chau – Deputy Chief of the BoD Assistance office; and other members.
On the Lao side, attendees included His Excellency Leklay Sivilay – Minister of Public Works and Transport; Mr. Xayabongkhong – Chief of the Minister’s Office; Dr. Bounta Onnavong – Director of the Department of Housing and Urban Planning (DHUP); and leaders of relevant departments under the Ministry.

At the beginning of the meeting, on behalf of CONINCO’s leadership, Dr. Ha Minh expressed sincere gratitude and respect to the Minister and his delegation for their continued trust and support.

In his remarks, Dr. Ha Minh emphasized the desire to further strengthen and deepen cooperation between CONINCO and Lao enterprises. In particular, he proposed promoting the development of Vietnam-Laos joint ventures, not only to implement key projects in Laos but also to expand operations across Southeast Asia. Alongside this direction, CONINCO affirmed its readiness to accompany Lao agencies and partners in human resource development through specialized training programs, enhanced professional knowledge exchange, and practical experience sharing. The company’s leadership also expressed its wish to continue expanding consulting services for infrastructure and important public buildings, fully leveraging the expertise of its team to ensure quality and investment efficiency.

Listening to CONINCO’s strategic proposals, Minister Leklay Sivilay warmly welcomed and fully supported the cooperation directions. Recognizing the effectiveness of previous meetings since May, the Minister affirmed that the Lao side is ready to introduce CONINCO to other major corporations in the country for new projects.
Highly appreciating CONINCO’s capacity, the Minister also highlighted ongoing strategic projects, opening up significant development potential. At the same time, the leadership of the Ministry of Public Works and Transport of Laos reaffirmed its commitment to always accompany, support, and resolve any difficulties so that CONINCO can implement its work smoothly.

The working visit of CONINCO’s high-level leadership delegation not only further strengthened the traditional friendship but also created practical cooperation opportunities.
