CELEBRATION OF CONINCO'S 45TH ANNIVERSARY 
(APRIL 16TH, 1979 - APRIL 16TH, 2024)

      CONINCO (Consultant and Inspection Joint Stock Company of Construction Technology and Equipment- CONINCO) celebrated its 45th anniversary on April 13th, 2024 (1979-2024). The commemorative event provided an opportunity for the CONINCO team to reflect on the company's 45-year journey of growth and development, as well as chart the company's goals, directions, and responsibilities for future initiatives.

    CONINCO, previously known as the Institute of Mechanization and Construction Technology Research, was founded on April 16th, 1979. CONINCO has gone through three stages of development over the course of its 45-year history, leaving a lasting impression on the construction sector.

-    From 1979 to 1994, CONINCO worked as the Institute of Mechanization and Construction Technology Research, reporting to the State Capital Construction Committee. Despite the hardships of the centrally planned economy era, the Institute evolved into one of the most respected research institutions in the construction industry. It produced outstanding achievements, including the successful completion of four state-level research projects, five pilot projects, and a number of ministry-level research projects. Furthermore, CONINCO acquired unique patent rights, assembled dozens of scientifically significant standards, norms, processes, and regulations, and made significant contributions to state management in the field of fundamental building.
-    During its 12-year tenure as a state-owned firm (1994-2006), the Institute underwent a substantial makeover, rebranding itself as the Consultant and Inspection Joint Stock Company of Construction Technology and Equipment under the Ministry of Construction. This was a significant step for CONINCO, as it shifted its focus a scientific research organization to one of the industry's most reputable consulting firms. During this phase, the company underwent extensive human and organizational restructuring, adopted an innovative culture, and increased international connections in order to enter the consultant market. These strategic initiatives enabled CONINCO to engage in profitable business activities and build a noteworthy track record of accomplishments.
-   Beginning in 2007, CONINCO officially transitioned to a joint stock company. CONINCO's shares were registered for trading on the UPCOM Hanoi Stock Exchange in 2016 with the stock code CNN. Since the change in corporate structure, CONINCO has remained committed to comprehensive and long-term development. CONINCO's Board of Directors and Executive Board have implemented cautious measures for people training, creating a modern work environment, and developing a professional and adaptable management system. These approaches have enabled significant increases in output and business operations. Over the course of nearly 20 years as a joint-stock company, CONINCO has seen a 1060% rise in employment, a 667% increase in equity capital, a 662% increase in revenue, a 482% increase in state budget contributions, and a 717% increase in pre-tax profits.

    CONINCO has had a profound and long-lasting impact on every part of the S-shaped region during the last four decades, with nationally significant projects in a variety of sectors. These include hydroelectric power, irrigation, agriculture, civil engineering, technical infrastructure, transportation, and energy. Notable projects include the My Dinh National Stadium, the National Convention Center, the new National Assembly House and Ba Dinh Conference Hall, the Hoang Van Thu Bridge in Hai Phong, the road tunnel through Ca Pass, the Military Hospital 108, the Mui Dinh wind power plant, the headquarters of various ministries and sectors, and airports such as Phu Bai, Noi Bai, and Tan Son Nhat…

     In particular, the opening of the CONINCO TOWER headquarters in 2019 was a big and significant milestone for the company, serving as a proud emblem for the CONINCO collective throughout its 45-year history of establishment and expansion. CONINCO TOWER, with its sustainable design and cutting-edge construction technology, reflects a vision of continual development and the desire to reach new heights, allowing for the production of new historical milestones.

    In the coming years, the CONINCO Board of Directors will continue to focus on consulting in the construction of national key projects such as Long Thanh Airport, high-speed road networks, high-speed railways, and urban railways, as well as expanding overseas consulting initiatives. Furthermore, efforts will be made to increase investment in science, technology, and social welfare in order to raise the CONINCO brand to worldwide standards and contribute to Vietnam's long-term development.

    45 years is a long enough voyage to leave historical impressions while also asserting a brand's excellence and sustainability. The company's 45th anniversary is being commemorated as an opportunity for CONINCO to meet and engage with esteemed guests, express gratitude to loyal partners, and show appreciation to the company's leaders and staff who have been closely tied to the company for the past 45 years.
