CONINCO and Hanoi University of Civil Engineering: Opening ceremony for high-speed railway engineer class – affirming comprehensive and continuous human resource training strategy

On the afternoon of November 26, 2025, at the headquarters of Consultant and inspection joint stock company of construction technology and equipment - CONINCO, the Opening ceremony for the Engineer class in Civil engineering for Transportation works – Specializing in high-speed railways and urban railways took place in a solemn atmosphere. This is a training cooperation program between CONINCO and Hanoi University of Civil Engineering (HUCE), aimed at fostering a core team of engineers ready to meet the stringent requirements of the national transportation infrastructure development strategy.
Attending the ceremony, from Hanoi University of Civil Engineering, were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Tung – Rector; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Phu Doanh – Vice Rector, along with teachers representing various faculties and specialized departments.
From CONINCO, there were Mr. Phan Ngoc Cuong – Chairman of the Board; Mr. Nguyen Manh Tuan – Member of the Board, General Director, along with members of the General Management Board, leaders of management departments, directors of centers with trainees; especially the presence of the trainees – CONINCO engineers who were selected for the training course.
At the ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Tuan Anh – Head of the Training Management Department announced the Decision on successful admission to the Engineer Class in Civil Engineering for Transportation Works, specializing in high-speed railways and urban railways.
Close Cooperation Between Training and Practice
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Tung – Rector of the University expressed joy at the increasingly in-depth cooperation with CONINCO. The Rector emphasized that the training program is designed with a modern curriculum, integrating theory and practice to meet the requirements for training high-quality human resources for national railway projects. In addition, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Tung shared that HUCE is currently a key unit entrusted by the State with training in high-tech fields such as new materials, special structures, and even nuclear power construction. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Tung affirmed that the University is ready to accompany enterprises in enhancing the professional capacity of the engineering team, especially in the context of Vietnam implementing many large-scale transportation projects.
The training model tailored for enterprises like this class is clear evidence of the close connection between the University and Enterprises. Hanoi University of Civil Engineering commits to assigning leading lecturers and experts to teach, equipping CONINCO engineers with the most up-to-date knowledge.
Proactively "Leading the Way" in human resources
In the context of the Government resolutely directing the implementation of investment in the North-South high-speed railway and completing the urban railway network, the construction industry is facing a historic opportunity. CONINCO identifies human resources as the most valuable asset and investing in intellect as the most sustainable development strategy. "Instead of waiting for fresh graduates, CONINCO chooses to train its current team of engineers working on major projects. This is the fastest and most effective way to prepare human resources ready for the Government's mega projects" – Chairman of the Board Phan Ngoc Cuong shared.
Chairman of the Board Phan Ngoc Cuong also emphasized that sending engineers for specialized training not only stops at updating knowledge but is a specific step to realize the goal of expanding market share into railway construction consulting. The company expects the team of engineers trained systematically at HUCE to be the "core" mastering advanced technology and techniques, contributing to affirming CONINCO's position in upcoming mega projects.
Also at the ceremony, the company's leadership and the University's Board of Directors discussed and exchanged on human resource training strategies as well as expressed expectations about the combination between CONINCO – a leading construction consulting unit and the academic foundation of Hanoi University of Civil Engineering, promising to create a team of high-quality experts for the railway industry.

In the exciting atmosphere of the ceremony, trainee Dinh Xuan Son, representing CONINCO engineers, expressed honor and clear awareness of his responsibilities; at the same time committing to arranging professional production work, studying seriously to absorb maximum knowledge, to apply effectively in practical work, not disappointing the trust of the Company's Leadership.
