Cooperation of CONINCO and Nihon Sekkei won the second prize of Architectural Competition for work: Vietcombank Headquarter Office Building (Vietcombank Tower)

Following the success of architectural competitions, CONINCO continued cooperating with Nihon Sekkei, Inc (Japan) in Architectural Competition for work: Vietcombank Tower and won the second prize. There is no first prize in this competition.

The design plan which won prize was highly appreciated by Selection Council because design ideas were risen from researching land location based on 5 basic values of Vietcombank’s culture: Trust - Standards - Ready to innovate - Sustainability – Human culture and decisive idea is “Green ribbon” symbolizing 3G: “Global design, Green design and General harmonious design”.
 

The building is designed with 2 blocks with different height and connected together with green rest space through 35 stories in order to create a contour rising towards North and South. Front surface of the highest block is towards roundabout of square. That cubic is divided into 2 parts reduces pressure for around space, and expresses front surface towards square, traffic island. Podium is designed harmoniously with low-rise block, opposite roundabout, which creates 2 consecutive rooves.
Height of 7 storey podium is the same as current block of house, which creates harmonious feeling  between Vietcombank tower and current street landscape.

Planning conception of general plan is highly appreciated by Selection Council because of the conformity with terrain, location of land lot as well as modern design ideas, energy saving solutions of this work.
