Experts of Nihon Sekkei and CONINCO checked and worked in National Assembly House and new Ba Dinh Hall prior to its official operation

On January 30th, 2015, the expert team of Nihon Sekkei Inc., (Japan) and CONINCO checked and worked in National Assembly House and new Ba Dinh Hall prior to its official operation. CONINCO is the “Construction supervision and equipment installation consultant” of this project, Nihon Sekkei is the sub-consultant.
Commenced in October 2009, National Assembly House and new Ba Dinh Hall consist of 02 basements and 05 floors with plan dimension 102m x 102m. The work is 39m high, total floor area is about 63,240m2. The underground parking lot may contain about 550 cars in Lot E (including about 50 cars for senior leaders).
The National Assembly meeting room consists of 575 seats with tables for delegates and 339 seats for guests; 1,200 m2 wooden wall plate; and about 4,100 m2 metal ceiling. In addition, 8,000 sets of table, chair, and interior furniture for working rooms and meetings are manufactured and installed.
There are 10 elevators, 12 escalators, and 02 lifts for disabled people.
Regarding the lighting system, there are 21,000 sets of interior lights; incident and escape lighting system; and illumination control system.
In order to ensure the security and safety, the building has 128 sets of camera; access control and door control system (server, workstation, screen, control cabinet, executable equipment, etc.)
The information and electronic system; acoustic system; television system: server, workstation, switching equipment; digital switching centre; 4,800 network nodes; 625 conference and vote equipment; the acoustic system for National Assembly meeting room, the Standing Committee of National Assembly, the Press centre, and meeting room of teams or groups.
After 5 years of construction, the work was accepted according to the completed items to serve the 8th session of National Assembly.
After the XIIIth Congress, 8th session of National Assembly, the Project Owner, Project Management Board, Consultants, and Contractors try to complete the work quickly, clean the work, calibrate equipment, and test run the whole work. It aims at handing over the work before Tet holiday 2015 with its full functions, using conditions, operation, and aesthetics.
Up to now, CONINCO and Nihon Sekkei has fulfilled our tasks and marked the development in mutual international cooperation.
