CONINCO Participates in the Inauguration Ceremony of the Institute for Protection and Healthcare of Central Officials and the Clinical Institute of Infectious Diseases – Central Military Hospital 108

On the morning of 25 February 2025, Central Military Hospital 108 held the inauguration ceremony for two new buildings: the Institute for Protection and Healthcare of Central Officials and the Clinical Institute of Infectious Diseases, coinciding with the 70th anniversary of Vietnam Physicians’ Day (27 February 1955 – 27 February 2025). Center for Construction Management No. 2 (T.QX2), a unit under CONINCO (Construction Technology, Equipment & Inspection Consulting Joint Stock Company), has excellently fulfilled its role as the project supervision consultant, further marking the CONINCO brand in healthcare infrastructure projects and contributing to the advancement of national medical care.

Attending the ceremony were General Secretary Tô Lâm, Secretary of the Central Military Commission; Chair of the National Assembly Trần Thanh Mẫn; Politburo members: Lê Minh Hưng (Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Organization Commission), Phan Đình Trạc (Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission); General Phan Văn Giang (Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Commission, Minister of National Defence); Bùi Thị Minh Hoài (Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee); Lê Hoài Trung (Central Party Committee Secretary, Chief of the Party Central Office); Hồ Đức Phớc (Member of the Central Party Committee, Deputy Prime Minister); along with other Central Party Committee members, leaders of central ministries and agencies, representatives from the Ministry of Defence, and leadership of Military Hospital 108.

At the inauguration, Major General, Professor, Doctor Le Huu Song – Director of Military Hospital 108 – reported that the project aims to elevate service quality and support medical research. It will help the hospital fulfill its role as a top-tier medical facility for high-ranking Party, State, military officials and citizens, while integrating with the hospital’s existing infrastructure: The Institute for Protection and Healthcare of Central Officials spans one basement floor and seven above-ground floors, with a total floor area of 19,684 m², accommodating 23 patient rooms.

The Clinical Institute of Infectious Diseases comprises one basement level (connected to the central complex tunnel) and seven above-ground floors, with a total floor area of 15,379 m² on a site of 2,079 m², and it is arranged for 145 beds (expandable to 200%–300% when needed).

These two buildings feature elegant architectural design, scientific planning, and integration of modern medical solutions. Their inauguration marks a major milestone in the hospital’s development strategy.

During his address, General Secretary Tô Lâm extended congratulations and praised the achievements of the medical staff at Military Hospital 108, which have contributed significantly to the healthcare sector’s development. He acknowledged the commitment of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of Defense in focusing on the timely completion of the project, which features high-functioning, integrated, convenient, and user-friendly facilities. He emphasized its suitability as a national-level, strategic, and final-line military hospital, laying the foundation for Military Hospital 108 to become a hospital of international standard.

CONINCO takes pride in having successfully fulfilled the role of project supervision consultant, bringing the project to completion on schedule, with required quality and safety. Throughout implementation, CONINCO’s engineering team exercised careful and rigorous control of each construction item, routinely reminding the contractor’s technical staff and management to strengthen internal quality management, address issues in construction before approving work progression, ensure that all materials delivered to the site had full quality certificates and origin documentation, and conduct sample testing to guarantee input quality.

Two engineers, Mr. Vu Xuan Dong and Mr. Đoan Kim Lanh, from the CONINCO supervision team, were honored to receive Certificates of Merit from the Director of the 108 Military Central Hospital.
