Minister Nguyen Hong Quan received Mr. Yasuyoshi Kaneyasu, Vice President of Japan SEC Elevator maintenance and management company

In the afternoon of March 10, 2011, at the Ministry of Construction, Minister of Construction Nguyen Hong Quan received Mr. Yasuyoshi Kaneyasu, Vice President of Japan SEC Elevator Maintenance and Management Company. Besides there were Mr. Pham Khanh Toan, General Director of International Cooperation Department under Ministry of Construction, Mr. Nguyen Tien Thanh, Director of Project Management Board of National Assembly House and Ba Dinh Hall (new), Mr. Nguyen Van Cong, Chairman of Management Board, General Director of Consultant and Inspection Joint Stock Company of Construction Technology and Equipment – CONINCO.

At the working session, Mr. Yasuyoshi Kaneyasu introduced to the Minister on the operation field and plans to promote investment in Vietnam of SEC company - one of the biggest elevator management and maintenance companies in Japan. Today the company is managing and maintaining more than 30,000 elevators all over Japan. At the same time, leaders of SEC and CONINCO reported to the Minister on the policy to establish a joint venture company between SEC and CONINCO providing maintenance and management services for elevator equipment in particular and other mechanical and electrical equipment in general.

Minister Nguyen Hong Quan welcomed the SEC elevator companies to explore opportunities to promote investment into Vietnam and supported the policy of SEC and CONINCO to establish a joint venture company. Also, the Minister also noted that the two sides needed to learn more about mutual capacity towards effective business cooperation and investment.

Regarding to the steps taken to establish a Joint Venture and deploy management and maintenance of elevators and other mechanical and electrical equipment in Vietnam, the Minister stressed that CONINCO company and its Japanese partners needed to carefully study current regulations to implement project in accordance with law.
