The professor group of Saitama General University paid an official visit to CONINCO

n recent years, the Japanese construction industry has contributed to the development of infrastructure in Vietnam and played an important role in the development of Vietnam’s economy through ODA projects. The cooperative relation between the two countries has been expanding and becoming a big opportunity for Vietnamese youth to study in such a developing country.

At 3.00 p.m on August 11, 2011, the professor group of Saitama General University, Japan visited Vietnam and received an enthusiastic reception of Center of International Cooperation and Consultancy – CONINCO at Noi Bai International Airport, Ha Noi.

In the morning of November 19, 2011, the group worked with the Management Board of Hanoi University of Civil Construction on improving education and training cooperation under the support of Dr. Ha Minh – Deputy General Director of CONINCO.

In the afternoon of the same day, the group paid an official visit to CONINCO company. The Chairman of Management Board and General Director Nguyen Van Cong welcomed the group and gave them a general introduction on company’s operation process. Professor Nakamoto, Director of International Cooperation and Education Program - Saitama General University expressed his impression and admiration for achievements of CONINCO in the past over 30 years.

The presentation of Professor Nakamoto attracted attention of many employees, especially young enthusiastic engineers of CONINCO. Its content is the mixture of cultures worldwide, it is about the Japanese country and people, particularly about Saitama General University. This is a prestigious national university of Japan established in 1949 with more than 800 international-level excellent lecturers of various majors. Saitama General University is an attractive destination of international students, including many Vietnamese ones. Besides, Professor Nakamoto referred to scholarship programs, consisting of Monbukagahuso scholarship – the most honorable scholarship of Japanese Government for excellent students all over the world.

Dr. Ha Minh, who has studied and worked as a lecturer in Saitama General University for 10 years, retold his precious studying and working experience and life in Japan.

The two sides ebulliently discussed and exchanged other programs and courses and the way of cooperation between Saitama University and CONINCO in the upcoming time as well. At the end of the meeting, Professor Nakamoto thanked for CONINCO’s solemn reception toward the group. In the evening of the same day, CONINCO entertained the delegation of Saitama General University.

On November 20, 2011, the professor group and Deputy General Director Ha Minh participated in the conference on Going to Japan for studying at Melia Hotel, No. 44, Ly Thuong Kiet Street, Ha Noi. On Sunday, November 20, 2011, the Center of International Cooperation and Consultancy guided the group to visit Viet Phu Thanh Chuong and Bat Trang pottery village, introduced the group about Vietnamese history, culture, and people.

After the visit to Vietnam, the Japanese professor group was impressed by the cultural tradition and hospitability of Vietnamese people, at the same time opened new ways of cooperation between Saitama General University and CONINCO in the upcoming time.
