The talk show on natural resources, green growth and sustainable development at CONINCO

On September 17, 2016, at CONINCO, Prof. Dr. Dang Hung Vo - Former Vice Minister of Natural Resources and Environment took part in the talk show on the efficient and economical use of natural resources; green growth and a way to sustainable development; training and development of human resources.

Attending the talkshow, there were Mr. Nguyen Van Cong – Chairman of BoM, General Director of the Company; The Board of Directors and nearly 200 officers under the Company.

Prof. Dr. Dang Hung Vo summarized the development history of Vietnam from “the decision to replace the relationship of cooperative production with the relationship of household production” to the policy of industrialization, modernization of the country in the direction of industrializing our country soon.

He also analyzed the model of economic growth, institutional innovation, sustainable development and green development, as well as the objectives of the 21st century, as well as emphasized the issues for development in Vietnam, in which institutional innovation is oriented mainly to high qualified human resources and environmentally friendly high technology; reasonably use land and natural resources are oriented mainly to saving and high efficiency; the investment capital is used at an appropriate level, focusing on a number of branches and to raise the efficiency of the capital use; Sustainable development in the direction of green development and friendly environment is associated with resolving well poverty reduction and social security issues.

The talk show ended successfully and helped CONINCO staff to have a holistic and profound view on the efficient and economical use of natural resources, green growth and way towards sustainable development. Training and development of human resources is an important goal and is always placed on top by CONINCO.
