Strengthening Coordination in Supervision and Design, Determined to Bring Long Thanh Airport to the Finish Line on Schedule

On October 30, 2025, at the major construction site of Long Thanh International Airport (LTIA), Mr. Phan Ngoc Cuong, Chairman of the Board of Directors of CONINCO, and Mr. Than Hong Linh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of VNCC, conducted an important site inspection alongside Ms. Phan Thi My Linh, former Deputy Minister of Construction. The trip demonstrated the close coordination between the two leading consulting units—the Supervision Consultant (CONINCO) and the Design Consultant (VNCC)—to review, urge, and identify solutions to accelerate progress, with the determination to complete the project on time.

In the context of the project entering its final rush, this joint inspection by the leadership of CONINCO and VNCC holds special significance. It provided an opportunity for the two units to directly compare the design drawings with the actual construction, promptly resolve issues arising on-site, and ensure consistency and synchronization throughout the implementation process.

At the key areas of the terminal, the delegation focused on inspecting construction quality, installation progress, and finishing works. With her seasoned management experience, Ms. Phan Thi My Linh provided sharp feedback, connecting the links, and ensuring a smooth workflow, all directed toward achieving the national goal.

Mr. Phan Ngoc Cuong, Chairman of CONINCO's Board of Directors, emphasized: CONINCO views this as a crucial political assignment. The quality of Long Thanh International Airport is not just the quality of a single construction work; it represents the prestige of Vietnam's construction industry and the face of the nation. Therefore, CONINCO consistently requires its supervision engineer team to work with the highest sense of responsibility, closely monitoring every item, from the complex roof steel structure to the modern Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems. The CONINCO team must not only ensure quality and safety but also proactively coordinate with the design unit and the contractor to optimize construction methods, contributing to the overall progress acceleration.

The presence and decisive direction of the leaders of the project-participating units further motivated the thousands of engineers and workers striving day and night. The joint inspection successfully addressed numerous bottlenecks, fostered high consensus, and aligned solutions to focus all resources on the finalization stage.

The delegation demonstrates a spirit of solidarity and determination to complete the national key project

With the synergy of top intellects, the dedication of the CONINCO team, and the determined spirit of "overcoming the sun and defeating the rain" on the construction site, all efforts are focused on the target of welcoming the first technical flight on December 19, 2025, in line with the instructions of the Prime Minister.
