General Secretary To Lam inspects and encourages construction forces at the Long Thanh international airport mega construction site

On the morning of November 13, 2025, in Dong Nai Province, General Secretary To Lam and the Central delegation inspected the site, chaired a meeting to urge progress, and visited and encouraged the officials, engineers, and workers striving on the construction site of the Long Thanh international airport project.
The delegation included comrades: Nguyen Van Nen - Member of the Politburo, Permanent Member of the Subcommittee on Documents for the 14th Party Congress; Tran Luu Quang - Member of the Central Committee, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee; Tran Hong Ha - Member of the Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister; Vu Hong Thanh - Member of the Central Committee, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly. Also participating in the delegation were leaders from central ministries, departments, and agencies.
Leaders of Dong Nai Province receiving and participating in the delegation included comrades: Vu Hong Van - Provincial Party Secretary, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Vo Tan Duc - Deputy Provincial Party Secretary, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
Representing the JAC - CONINCO supervision consulting joint venture were CONINCO Chairman of the Board Phan Ngoc Cuong and Project Chief Supervision Consultant Yamada Ryohei, who were honored to welcome the delegation and report on quality supervision at the project.
Directly inspecting key construction items, especially the "Lotus" passenger terminal area gradually taking shape, General Secretary To Lam listened to reports from the investor (ACV) and representatives of contractors and consulting units on the project's implementation status. The General Secretary acknowledged and praised the spirit of effort, "overcoming sun and rain" of thousands of people on the mega construction site, while emphasizing that this is a national key project with particularly important significance for socio-economics, national defense, and security.
During the visit, General Secretary To Lam presented meaningful gifts, encouraging representatives of the forces, including the JAC - CONINCO supervision consulting joint venture, directly participating in project supervision consulting.
After the field inspection, the General Secretary chaired an important meeting, listened to difficulties, and issued decisive directives to ensure progress, safety, and the highest quality for the project when put into operation.
As a super project with scale and complex technical nature at the national forefront, the role of supervision consulting units is extremely important, serving as the "extended arm" of the investor to control project quality. CONINCO, as a member of the JAC - CONINCO supervision consulting joint venture, is always deeply aware of its responsibility in completing this particularly important task.
This spirit is not only thoroughly implemented to each supervision engineer on site but also demonstrated through the close guidance and concern of the company's leadership. Chairman of the Board Phan Ngoc Cuong has made many trips to inspect and work directly at the construction site, promptly directing and encouraging the CONINCO supervision consulting team to closely follow the field, coordinate tightly with the investor and contractors to control quality, ensure safety, and promote progress for each item.
