On the morning of January 30th, 2024, Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, Dinh Tien Dung, Head of the Steering Committee for the Construction Investment Project of Ring Road 4 - Capital Area in Hanoi, visited and presented gifts to encourage the workers and laborers working at the construction site of this national key project on the occasion of the Lunar New Year, Year of the Wood Dragon, 2024. Consultant and Inspection Joint Stock Company of construction technology and equipment (CONINCO., JSC), is the unit responsible for providing supervision consultant services for the project.
Up to now, three provinces and cities, namely Hanoi, Hung Yen, and Bac Ninh, have approved the plan and successfully reclaimed 1,312.5 hectares of land, reaching 94.36% of the target. The relocation of 14,930 graves has been completed, achieving a rate of 90.94%. Specifically, Hanoi has reclaimed 768.99 hectares of land, acing for 97.19% of the target, and relocated 9,874 graves, reaching a rate of 96.5%. The construction of 13 resettlement areas with a total area of 32.5 hectares has been carried out, with 5 resettlement areas being substantially completed. Thuong Tin and Soc Son districts have organized a lottery draw for 140 eligible households to arrange their resettlement.
On the construction site of Ring Road 4, contractors are currently implementing 32 construction fronts, including 23 for road construction and 9 for bridge construction, with the determination to complete the parallel road section by 2025. Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, Dinh Tien Dung, acknowledged the urgent working atmosphere at the construction site and encouraged the team of engineers and laborers to overcome difficulties and accelerate the progress according to the set timeline.
The Ring Road 4 - Capital Area project has a total length of 112.8 kilometers, consisting of 103.1 kilometers of Ring Road 4 and 9.7 kilometers of the connecting route along the Noi Bai - Ha Long expressway. The starting point is located at Km3+695 on the Noi Bai - Lao Cai expressway (in Thanh Xuan commune, Soc Son, Hanoi), and the endpoint is on the Noi Bai - Ha Long expressway (in Que Vo district, Bac Ninh province).
Among them, the section passing through Hanoi is 56.5 kilometers; Hung Yen is 20.3 kilometers; and Bac Ninh is 21.2 kilometers. The project has a total investment of approximately 85,813 billion Vietnamese dong, divided into 3 groups with 7 component projects.
