Vice President of Saitama University visited and gave a lecture about new construction technologies and materials of Japan at CONINCO

In the afternoon on September 19th, 2013, Professor Hiroshi Mutsuyoshi – Vice President of Saitama University (Japan) – President of Japan Prestressed concrete Institution (JPCI) visited and gave a lecture at Consultant and Inspection Joint Stock Company of Construction Technology and Equipment – CONINCO about a new construction technologies and materials of Japan.
Content of the lecture includes 2 main parts:
Part 1. Introduction of Saitama Univertisy with training departments, international programs and Master, Doctor Scholarships.
Part 2. New construction technologies and materials in Japan: Application of FRP and ultra – high – strength fiber – reinforced concrete in Japan; Splices in Japan; Recent technology of prestressed concrete bridges in Japan.
The lecture attracted the participation of CONINCO’s staffs and consultant engineers. Thanks to it, CONINCO’s staffs are equipped with more precious knowledge as well as practical experiences.
