CONINCO attended the Groundbreaking Ceremony pile construction the Passenger Terminal – Long Thanh International Airport

After more than one month of leveling and drainage, on the morning of March 30, 2022, the Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) held the Groundbreaking Ceremony for package No. 5.6 "Pile construction of the Passenger terminal of Long Thanh International Airport Phase 1, Sub-project 3”. This is an important event, marking a strong start for the project to be completed on schedule and with the quality required by the National Assembly and the Government. Consultant and Inspection Joint Stock Company of Construction Technology and Equipment (CONINCO., JSC) continues to be trusted by the Client to undertake the task of construction supervision for this important bidding package. Deputy General Director Nguyen Minh Quan and CONINCO CS team attended the groundbreaking ceremony.
Long Thanh International Airport Phase 1 is a national significant project that has important implications for the country's socio-economic development with an investment scale of 01 runway and 01 passenger terminal, synchronous auxiliary works with a capacity of 25 million passengers/year and 1.2 million tons of cargo/year. In particular, the passenger terminal has complex technical characteristics, applying advanced and modern technologies, aiming to compete with international aviation hub in the region. Therefore, the construction of the pile, foundation of the Passenger Terminal - the most important work has the decisive meaning to the progress of the Sub-project 3 invested by ACV as well as the progress of this whole important project.
Also at the groundbreaking ceremony for package No. 5.6 "Pile construction of the Passenger terminal of Long Thanh International Airport Phase 1, Sub-project 3 ", Mr. Huynh Ngoc Quoc Bao - Deputy Director of CONINCO’s branch in Ho Chi Minh City, Construction supervision Team leader of piling works for the Passenger Terminal of Long Thanh International Airport – CONINCO’s representative signed a 50-day mutual emulation agreement for construction of ground leveling - drainage and piling works for the passenger terminal launched by the Long Thanh International Airport Project Management Unit of Vietnam Airports Corporation with the aim of completing a number of important works before the rainy season so as not to affect the progress and quality of the project.
As a construction supervision consultant, CONINCO commits to strictly, professionally and closely implement this important package on schedule, contributing to the completion of the project and bringing Long Thanh International Airport (phase 1) into operation in 2025, ensuring the highest safety and quality according to the standards of the International Civil Aviation Organization to enhance the position of Vietnam's airport system in the region and all over the world.
