CONINCO attended the Seminar Industrial Revolution 4 - Opportunities challenges with the Technology - Engineering sectors

Recently, the concept of "Industrial Revolution 4.0" (IR 4.0) has been mentioned a lot in Vietnam. Along with that are the promise of breakthrough changes that this wave brings to every field and every aspect of Vietnamese society. In order to meet the needs of IR 4.0 and to prepare well for the challenges we will face, focusing on developing highly qualified human resources and professional skills are indispensable. Facing the requirement is how to train high-quality human resources to meet the development needs, training, research and activity units in science and technology will need to have awareness and quickly make strong changes appropriately before the explosion of IR 4.0.
Not outside this concern, Vietnam Japan University in collaboration with Nguyen Tat Thanh University, Vietnam Mechanics Association organized a scientific Seminar on the theme of "Industrial Revolution 4.0 - Opportunities and challenges with the Technology - Engineering sectors”, on October 27th.
Attending the Seminar, there were the presence of managers and scientists, experts from the Department of Higher Education (Ministry of Education and Training), Academy of Military Science and Technology (Ministry of Defense), Vietnam National University, Hanoi University of Technology, Military Technical Academy, National University of Civil Engineering, University of Transport and Communications, Vietnam Japan University, Nguyen Tat Thanh University, VNU University of Science, University of Technology, Thai Nguyen University, University of Water Resources, Research Institute - Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology, Vietnam Institute for Building Science and Technology, Vietnam Institute of Transport Science and Technology, .. and leading professors in the field of Engineering Technology and Educational management.
Attending this seminar as a strategic partner in cooperation in training highly qualified human resources with Vietnam Japan University, CONINCO's representatives were Dr. Ha Minh - General Director, and Dr. Arc. Luong Thi Ngoc Huyen - Director of CONINCO Research Center of Science, Technology and Training.
As one of the speakers at the Seminar, Dr. Arc. Luong Thi Ngoc Huyen gave a lecture on the topic "Some trends in the construction industry of digital age". Besides the presentations from the perspective of training and research units, the presentation brings a part of practical viewpoint from the production and business operations of enterprises in general and of CONINCO in particular before the demand for strong changes both in research and development of technology, both in development of training qualified personnel in the 4.0 technology era.

For this seminar, Professor Dr.Sci. Nguyen Dinh Duc, Head of the Organizing Committee of the seminar hoped that the views shared by leading organizers in Vietnam would help clarify the characteristics of IR 4.0, as well as challenges and opportunities with Technology - Engineering of Vietnam, aim to improve the current training program, propose new training programs for universities, in order to best meet the practical needs of society, create a sufficient preparation step for RI 4.0 to bring benefits and competitive advantages for Vietnam's technology and engineering sectors in the international arena.
At the Seminar, Dr. Ha Minh also had direct exchanges and shared more with Professor Dr.Sci. Nguyen Dinh Duc on opportunities as well as challenges not only training units but businesses would face in the field of developing high quality human resources in the rapid evolution of IR 4.0. Dr. Ha Minh expressed that, through seminar and cooperation on scientific research and training, CONINCO and Vietnam Japan University would have deeper cooperation in the future.

Industrial Revolution 4.0 is a trend of automation and data exchange in manufacturing technologies. The essence of IR 4.0 is based on digital technology and integrate all intelligent technologies to optimize processes, manufacturing methods ... Thereby, creating intelligent factories with Self-connected, self-organized and self-controlled machine system. This is also known as the digital revolution. At present, the Industrial Revolution 4.0 is taking place in developed countries like the US, Europe and a part of Asia.
