CONINCO participated in the inauguration and the plaque affixing ceremony for the lecture hall complex of the Academy of Finance

On the morning of November 11th, 2023, at the project of expanding the facility at 69 Duc Thang, Duc Thang ward, Bac Tu Liem district, Hanoi, the Academy of Finance held the inauguration and the plaque affixing ceremony of the Academy's lecture hall complex. This is one of the activities to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the establishment and development of the Academy of Finance. Construction Management Center No. 2 (T.QX2) - CONINCO is the unit that has successfully completed the task of supervising the quality of the project, contributing to the success of the project.

At the ceremony, there were former Politburo member and former National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung; leaders and former leaders of units under the Ministry of Finance; leaders of project contractors, along with leaders, staff, lecturers, and students of the Academy of Finance...

From the CONINCO Supervision Consultant side, there were Mr. Nguyen Manh Tuan - Deputy General Director; Mr. Nguyen Van Binh - Director of T.QX2 and the project's supervision team.

Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Van Binh - Deputy Director of the Academy of Finance said that the Academy of Finance's development strategy to 2030, with a vision to 2045, has identified: The Academy of Finance is a higher education institution providing high-quality training and research products in finance and acing for society; by 2030, it will become one of the top 5 multi-disciplinary, multi-sector higher education institutions in Vietnam.

To achieve that goal, according to Dr. Nguyen Van Binh, the Academy of Finance's development strategy has set out the task of prioritizing investment in infrastructure development, first and foremost the system of lecture halls, classrooms, practice rooms, and conference rooms that meet standards and are equipped with modern facilities to serve training and scientific research. The Academy of Finance has proposed and received the attention of the National Assembly, the Government, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Education and Training, and the People's Committee of Hanoi City in approving the project, allocating land, and allocating public investment capital to implement the project of expanding the Academy of Finance at 69 Duc Thang Street, Bac Tu Liem District, Hanoi City.

he lecture hall complex of the Academy of Finance consists of 4 buildings (A-B-C-D) with a total floor area of over 40,000 square meters, including 80 classrooms, 9 practice rooms, 1 conference room with 150 seats, and 36 functional rooms. The construction process over the past 3 years has faced numerous challenges related to the pandemic, weather, and market price fluctuations; especially the Covid-19 pandemic has disrupted the construction process. However, with the close guidance and direction of the Ministry of Finance's leadership, the close cooperation of units under the Ministry of Finance, local authorities, the decisive and responsible participation of all project stakeholders, the efforts to overcome challenges by the investor and contractors, the lecture hall complex has now been completed, accepted, and put into operation, meeting the infrastructure needs for training and scientific research of the Academy of Finance.

The project was completed and put into operation in 2023, marking the 60th anniversary of the establishment and development of the Academy of Finance. Therefore, the lecture hall complex holds significant importance not only in meeting the need for a higher education standard infrastructure system, but also in boosting morale and encouraging generations of teachers and students at the Academy.
