CONINCO welcomes Vice Minister Vilaykham Phosalath the delegations the Ministry Public Works Transport Lao PDR

2022 is the 60th anniversary of the cooperation relationship between Vietnam and Laos. Over the past 60 years, that relationship has been enormously expanded and developed, effectively and sustainably in all fields, becoming an exemplary relationship in international relations. CONINCO is one of the enterprises contributing to promoting the socio-economic development of Laos, promoting the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos. In order to further strengthen economic cooperation in the field of transport between Vietnam and Laos, at the end of November 2022, the delegation of the Ministry of Public Works and Transport of Lao PDR led by Vice Minister Vilaykham Phosalath had a business trip in Vietnam. On the afternoon of November 25, 2022, Consultant and Inspection Joint Stock Company of Construction Technology and Equipment (CONINCO.,JSC) honored to welcome the delegations to visit the company's headquarters - CONINCO Tower.

On the side of the Ministry of Public Works and Transport of Lao PDR, in addition to Vice Minister Vilaykham Phosalath, the delegation included: Mr. Vanhsaveng Oudthachack - Deputy Director of the Water Supply Department; Mrs. Vang Dilaphanh – Director of Financial Planning Department; Mr. Bounma Luangbantith - Deputy Director General of Personnel and Organization Department; Mr. Soulasak Souvannalet – Deputy Head of General Department, Deputy Secretary; Mrs. Pham Thi Hong Diep – Coordinator.

Speaking at the meeting, on behalf of the Board of Directors and all employees of CONINCO, General Director, Mr. Phan Ngoc Cuong gratituded and expressed his appreciation to welcome Vice Minister Vilaykham Phosalath and the delegation of the Ministry of Public Works and Transport of Laos PDR. General Director Phan Ngoc Cuong introduced to the delegation about CONINCO and its great achievements and typical projects such as: National Assembly House of Vietnam, airports and ports, People's Procuracy Supreme People's Court of Vietnam, Supreme People's Court Project...

Not only providing domestic consulting services, CONINCO is also a pioneer in expanding its business activities internationally and is trusted by the Governments of the two countries to implement a number of national-level projects, symbolic projects of Lao PDR, such as: Office of the Lao National Assembly House, Lao National Sports Training Center, Laos - Vietnam Friendship High School, Luang Prabang High School, Faculty of Vietnamese Language - Vientiane National University …

Currently, CONINCO is also implementing a number of new projects in Laos, especially the GMS4 project invested by the Department of Housing and Urban Affairs under the Ministry of Public Works and Transport of Lao PDR, sponsored by the Asian Development Bank Asia (ADB). This is a key project that will support the Lao PDR government to improve urban environmental services and strengthen regional economic connectivity in the towns of Paksan and Thakhek, two towns located along the Northern Economic Corridor - South of the Greater Mekong Sub-region. To introduce more clearly the role of CONINCO in the GMS4 project, Deputy General Director Nguyen Dac Phuong reported on the implementation of the GMS4 project and thanked the Lao Ministry of Public Works and Transport for trusting and evaluating high capacity, selected CONINCO to perform international consulting services for the GMS4 project. Recently, despite the complicated developments of the Covid-19 pandemic affecting the implementation process, CONINCO still flexibly implemented the project continuously and effectively with a commitment to bring quality services to meet requirements and progress.

Through the meeting, Deputy General Director Nguyen Dac Phuong also shared about CONINCO's market development orientation in Laos in the near future with the hope that leaders of ministries, departments and sectors will create favorable conditions for CONINCO to have the opportunity to participate in cooperating and implementing ODA projects (ADB, WB...) projects with high technical requirements... contribute to the development of infrastructure planning in Laos in particular and the development of Laos in general. CONINCO with experience, capacity and quality management system and highly qualified personnel is always ready to carry out important projects in Laos.

Impressed by the scale of CONINCO Company and thanks for the thoughtful reception of CONINCO; Vice Minister Vilaykham Phosalath highly appreciated CONINCO's achievements and capabilities during nearly half a century of construction and development. At the same time, the Vice Minister thanked the Government of Vietnam and CONINCO for accompanying and supporting the Government, ministries, departments and branches of Laos in the socio-economic development of Laos. The Deputy Minister hopes that CONINCO will continue to participate in more projects in Laos in the coming time.

Also at the meeting, Mr. Vanhsaveng Oudthachack - Deputy Director of the Water Supply Department and Ms. Vang Dilaphanh - Director of the Financial Planning Department discussed the urban development plans of the Lao Ministry of Public Works and Transport to 2025, Hopefully during the implementation process, the Ministry will continue to work with CONINCO to learn from experience in implementing projects on urban infrastructure, water supply and drainage...

Gratituded with the comments from leaders of the Lao Ministry of Public Works and Transport, General Director Phan Ngoc Cuong emphasized, in addition to developing and improving consulting expertise in most construction fields, in Vietnam, CONINCO also focuses on supporting newly established companies to expand quality, products and services to the market. Up to now, CONINCO has 10 member companies that are capable and experienced enough to undertake large-scale, high-demand projects in Vietnam and internationally, including one Member Company Limited Technology Consulting, CONSULTANT AND INSPECTION SOLE CO., LTD OF CONSTRUCTION TECHNOLOGY AND EQUIPMENT (CONINCO-LAOS) was established on 26/11/2011. Through the success of CONINCO projects implemented in Laos, General Director Phan Ngoc Cuong wishes to promote a more comprehensive cooperation relationship between CONINCO and the Lao Government not only in the continued implementation of the key projects, but also cooperation in consulting expertise between enterprises of the two countries with the hope of contributing to the development of Lao consulting enterprises.

Recognizing and thanking General Director Phan Ngoc Cuong for sharing, Vice Minister Vilaykham Phosalath hopes that CONINCO and Laos' consulting businesses will have the opportunity to cooperate in the future. Also during the meeting, the Vice Minister sent an invitation to the CONINCOs Board of Directors to visit Laos and work with Lao consulting businesses through the connection of the Ministry of Public Works and Transport, so that the parties can learn more, diversified and comprehensive cooperation in many fields, contributing to promoting the cooperation relationship for mutual development. With the strong development of CONINCO over the past time, Vice Minister Vilaykham Phosalath believes that CONINCO will continue to reap more achievements.
