Long Thanh International Airport Passenger Terminal Building: Ready for Steel Roof Structure Installation in Wing 3

On the morning of August 20, 2024, at the Long Thanh International Airport construction site, Mr. Phan Ngoc Cuong, Member of the Board of Directors and General Director, along with Mr. Nguyen Luong Binh, Deputy General Director and Head of the Technical Management Department, conducted an inspection of the progress and readiness for the steel roof structure installation in Wing 3 of the passenger terminal building, scheduled for August 21, 2024.

Currently, nearly 3,000 workers and engineers are tirelessly working in rotating three-shift cycles, enduring various weather conditions to ensure the project's progress. As of now, major construction milestones have been achieved, with 100% completion of the concrete pouring for the 2F, 3F, and 4F floors, while the 4F slab is at 76% completion. In the upcoming period, contractors will continue to mobilize additional manpower to accelerate progress in line with government directives. Regarding the steel structure fabrication and assembly, the JAC–CONINCO joint venture has been continuously monitoring factory progress, ensuring that construction follows proper procedures and that all installation equipment meets the highest safety standards, crucial for maintaining the project timeline.

During his site visit, General Director Phan Ngoc Cuong praised the engineers and workers for their dedication and hard work during this critical phase of the project. He also encouraged them to prioritize their health and safety, emphasizing the importance of maintaining morale and commitment to successfully completing this national landmark project.
