A New Milestone in Strategic Cooperation: CONINCO Holds Working Session with China Railway Siyuan Survey and Design Group Co., Ltd.

On the morning of 29 July 2026, a working session was held at CONINCO Headquarters between Consultant and Inspection Joint Stock Company of Construction Technology and Equipment (CONINCO., JSC) and China Railway Siyuan Survey and Design Group Co., Ltd. (SIYUAN). The meeting opened up promising opportunities for deeper cooperation between SIYUAN, one of China's leading railway survey and design institutes with extensive industry experience, and CONINCO, one of Vietnam's leading construction consultancy firms, particularly in the development of railway infrastructure.

Representing CONINCO, the meeting was chaired by Mr. Nguyen Dang Quang, General Director, with the participation of Mr. Tran Thanh Hai, Deputy General Director; Mr. Pham Tien Quynh, Director of the Railway Engineering Consultancy Center (T.RC); Mr. Tran Xuan Diep, Director of the Major Projects Construction Management Center (T.QD); and Mr. Nguyen Van Hieu, Deputy Head of the Business Development Department.
Representing SIYUAN were Mr. Long Zhide, Director of the Development and Reform Department; Mr. Zhu Mengjun, Chief Engineer of the International Business Department; and Mr. Guo Ning, Executive General Director of the Vietnam Branch.

Opening the meeting, Mr. Long Zhide, representing SIYUAN, shared the purpose of the delegation's visit and expressed his appreciation for the strong growth potential of Vietnam's infrastructure market. Noting that Vietnam is entering a "golden era" of construction and infrastructure development, Mr. Long expressed SIYUAN's desire to establish a strategic partnership with CONINCO. Founded in 1953, SIYUAN has a workforce of more than 10,000 employees and extensive experience in the design of major railway projects across China. Mr. Long affirmed that SIYUAN is ready to share its technologies and technical standards with CONINCO to support the long-term development of both parties.

During the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Dang Quang, General Director of CONINCO, warmly welcomed the delegation from SIYUAN and expressed his appreciation for their visit to CONINCO. He also introduced CONINCO's more than 47-year history and development journey. With a workforce of nearly 1,800 experts, engineers, architects, and staff, CONINCO has successfully undertaken numerous national key projects as well as major developments for leading corporations.
Mr. Quang emphasized that railway infrastructure development is a new strategic direction that CONINCO is highly focused on and determined to pursue. He noted that combining SIYUAN's advanced international technologies with CONINCO's in-depth understanding of Vietnam's technical standards, construction materials, and local construction conditions would significantly enhance the competitiveness of both parties

Recognizing the similarities in the development journeys and strategic orientation of the two organizations, Mr. Nguyen Dang Quang, General Director of CONINCO, and Mr. Long Zhide, representing SIYUAN, engaged in an open discussion on flexible cooperation models, with the shared goal of establishing a comprehensive partnership that would maximize the respective strengths of both parties in the future.

Overview of the meeting

Highlighting the foundation for future cooperation between the two organizations, Mr. Tran Thanh Hai, Deputy General Director of CONINCO, reviewed the history of cooperation between the two organizations. He noted that, building on the positive progress of their ongoing cooperation and while continuing to implement current projects, both sides would further explore opportunities to expand their collaboration into new projects. Mr. Hai also expressed his belief that these initial achievements would provide a solid foundation for CONINCO and SIYUAN to jointly pursue larger-scale projects, not only in Vietnam but also across the wider region.

The meeting concluded successfully in an open and mutually respectful atmosphere. On behalf of CONINCO's Board of Management, Mr. Nguyen Dang Quang, General Director, presented the SIYUAN delegation with a traditional Vietnamese lacquerware souvenir as a token of appreciation. Both parties agreed to strengthen communication further and maintain close coordination with a view to realizing their long-term strategic cooperation initiatives in the near future.
