CONINCO Architects Association Celebrates Vietnam Architecture Day: Affirming Identity, Steadily Shaping the Future

Amid the joyful atmosphere of the nationwide architectural community, on the morning of April 25, 2026, the CONINCO Architects Association successfully organized a ceremony to commemorate the 78th Anniversary of Vietnam Architecture Day (April 27, 1948 – April 27, 2026). The event served as an opportunity to reflect on the development journey of Vietnamese architecture, honor the contributions of architects, and reaffirm CONINCO’s position in the field of design consultancy.

The ceremony was honored by the presence of Dr. Architect Hoang Huu Phe – Chairman of Research and Development Consultants Joint Stock Company (R&D Consultants).
Representing CONINCO were Dr. Ha Minh – Chairman of the Board of Directors; Architect ASEAN Nguyen Dang Quang – General Director and Chairman of the CONINCO Architects Association; Nguyen Manh Tuan – Member of the Board of Directors and Deputy General Director; members of the Board of Director, leaders of management divisions, and CONINCO architects.

April 27 – A Historical Spirit and the Aspiration to Create

Vietnam Architecture Day traces its origins to the historic milestone on April 27, 1948, when President Ho Chi Minh sent a letter to the founding Congress of the Association of Vietnamese Architects. In the letter, he emphasized the important role of architecture in national development and expressed his expectations for architects to build a modern architecture imbued with national identity while wholeheartedly serving the people.
Since then, April 27 has become an occasion to honor the architectural profession and recognize the persistent dedication and creativity of generations of architects throughout the nation’s development journey.
In harmony with this historical legacy, the CONINCO Architects Association organized the commemorative program to continue inspiring passion, spreading the mission of creation, and motivating young architects on their future journey.

•    First Prize in the Architectural and Urban Planning Design Competition for the Ninh Thuan Provincial Administrative Center Project.

Aspiration for Advancement and Strong Support from the Leadership

At the ceremony, Architect Pham Tien Thang – Director of Consultancy Division 3, presented a report on the activities and achievements of the CONINCO Architects Association over the past period. He proudly highlighted the accomplishments of CONINCO architects while reaffirming their commitment to continuously updating sustainable, efficient, and identity-oriented design trends. Representing the architectural team, he also expressed the desire to continue receiving strategic direction and support from the Company’s leadership so that architecture can further strengthen its role as a vital factor in enhancing project value.

Further encouraging the team of architects, Dr. Ha Minh – Chairman of the Board of Directors, delivered heartfelt congratulatory remarks, recognizing the architects’ tireless creativity and dedication in strengthening the CONINCO brand. Recalling President Ho Chi Minh’s historic letter, the Chairman affirmed that architects are among CONINCO’s most valuable human resources. Expressing his deep pride in the achievements of CONINCO architects, whose intelligence and expertise have enabled them to outperform many international competitors in major design competitions, the Chairman emphasized that the CONINCO Architects Association should continue expanding its scale, enhancing the quality of its activities, and delivering practical value to its members. He also highlighted the importance of harmoniously combining precise technical thinking with the romantic and artistic spirit inherent in architecture.

Receiving and embracing the strategic directions from the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Architect ASEAN Nguyen Dang Quang – General Director and Chairman of the CONINCO Architects Association, expressed his sincere gratitude to Dr. Ha Minh on behalf of all CONINCO architects.
The General Director also shared his understanding of the increasingly demanding pressures related to project schedules and professional requirements in today’s design consultancy industry. On behalf of the Executive Board, he affirmed the Company’s commitment to continuously accompanying and supporting the architectural team by creating the best possible working environment and ensuring their well-being so that architects can confidently dedicate themselves to their profession.

The joyful gathering held on the 20th floor of the Company headquarters concluded the commemorative event in a warm and memorable atmosphere. More than just an occasion to look back on achievements, the event also marked the beginning of new ideas, new projects, and new aspirations — where every CONINCO architect will continue shaping their identity through dedication, creativity, and professional excellence.
