CONINCO attended the meeting the Acceptance Council for the Ministerial Project implemented by the State Inspection Department - Ministry Construction

On December 17, 2018, with the invitation of the State Inspection Department for the quality of construction works, Dr. Ha Minh - General Director of CONINCO represented the company to attend the meeting of the Acceptance Council at the ministerial level fo the project “Investigating and surveying the status of National Technical Regulations, National standards on occupational safety in building sector; propose a plan to amend and promulgate national technical regulations and national standards on occupational safety in the construction sector in the 2016-2018 period under Project 1511“ Enhencement of capacity building for quality accreditation construction works in Vietnam ”by the Inspection Department.

Along with the rapid and strong development in all aspects of our country's economy recently, construction investment is one of the activities that are increasingly expanding and increasing, accompanied by an increase of the scale and technical complexity of the project. In this context, the management of occupational safety (SAFETY) in construction should be on top priority, especially when there are still many accidents happening at the construction works.

With the necessity and urgency of the current situation, the Project “Investigate and survey the current state of national technical regulations, national standards on occupational safety in the construction field; Proposing a plan to amend and promulgate national technical regulations and national standards on occupational safety in construction in the 2016-2018 period”, which was aimed at reviewing the entire technical regulation system, current safety techniques, safety standards to propose a plan to amend or issue new technical regulations on occupational safety in construction, technical inspection of occupational safety for the scope of management of the Ministry of Construction.

As a leading construction consultant in Vietnam with prestige, capacity and long-term experience in the field, CONINCO was invited to participate in the appraisal and acceptance of this ministerial-level project. In the decision to establish the Project Acceptance Council signed by the Deputy Minister of Construction - Le Quang Hung, Dr. Ha Minh joined the meeting as a member of the Council. At the meeting, Dr. Ha Minh has contributed ideas to the Council in order to give the research team the feedbacks on the project implementation.

In conclusion, Director of the Southern Affairs Department of the Ministry of Construction, Mr. Hoang Hai - chair of the Project Acceptance Council agreed with the opinions of the Council members, he highly appreciated the products of the topic. The topic is performed in a methodical way, with a large amount of work and many innovations in the research process.
