CONINCO Holds Talks with China Railway Siyuan Survey and Design Group: Sharing Experience and Connecting Capabilities in Transport Infrastructure

Against the backdrop of a new phase of accelerated development in Vietnam’s national transport network, a visit by a delegation from China Railway Siyuan Survey and Design Group (Siyuan) to CONINCO in late October provided an opportunity for in-depth professional exchanges between two leading construction consultancy firms.

Representing CONINCO at the meeting were Dr. Ha Minh, Chairman of the Board of Directors, who chaired the meeting; Mr. Tran Thanh Hai, Deputy General Director; Ms. Pham Thuy Linh, Manager of the Business Management Department; and Ms. Do Thi Ngoc Chau, Deputy Manager of the BoD Assistance Office
The Siyuan delegation comprised Mr. Long Xinqiao, Vice President; Mr. Shen Hongshan, Executive General Manager of the International Department; Mr. Long Zhide, Deputy Head of the Development and Reform Department; Mr. Tao Xuejun, General Director of the Vietnam Branch; and Mr. Guo Ning, Deputy General Director of the Vietnam Branch.

In his opening remarks, Dr. Ha Minh extended a warm welcome to the Siyuan delegation. Commenting on the market outlook, the Chairman of CONINCO’s Board of Directors noted that Vietnam’s transport infrastructure sector, particularly urban railways and high-speed railways, is entering a period of significant development to meet the demands of economic growth. To prepare for this development, CONINCO has consistently taken a proactive approach to developing a highly qualified engineering workforce, keeping abreast of technological advancements, and expanding its professional cooperation network with reputable international organisations. CONINCO’s leadership also highlighted the Company’s practical experience and positive results achieved through cooperation with foreign partners, including Chinese companies, on numerous large-scale industrial and infrastructure projects in recent years.

Speaking on behalf of the delegation, Mr. Long Xinqiao, Vice President of Siyuan, was impressed by CONINCO’s scale, outstanding capabilities and nearly 50 years of experience in construction consultancy. Introducing Siyuan, he explained that the organization has extensive expertise and experience in railway network planning, surveying and design. The visit to CONINCO was part of Siyuan’s efforts to gain a better understanding of Vietnam’s investment environment and legal framework, while identifying capable local partners with comparable expertise in design, inspection and project management. The aim is to establish cooperation and further develop professional capabilities in the Vietnamese market.

In an open and constructive spirit, the leadership of both organizations held frank and in-depth discussions on potential cooperation opportunities and corporate governance models. Drawing on his practical management experience, strategic insight and deep understanding of the domestic market, Dr. Ha Minh shared comprehensive perspectives on bidding, human resource management, resource optimization and risk control in the implementation of large-scale projects. CONINCO emphasized that all cooperation opportunities should be built on a foundation of sincerity, fairness, and responsibility, with a shared commitment to mutual development.
