CONINCO is honored in the Top 10 Sustainable Businesses in Vietnam 2017

On December 6th, 2017, Vietnam Business Council for Sustainable Development (VBCSD) under the direction of Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) held the Announcing Ceremony of Sustainable Businesses in Vietnam 2017 in Hanoi. Consultant and Inspection Joint Stock Company of Construction Technology and Equipment (CONINCO., JSC) is honored in the Top 10 Sustainable Businesses in Vietnam 2017 – trade and service sectors.
This is the second consecutive year that VBCSD in coordination with the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the State Securities Commission organize to honor the outstanding enterprises and social organizations that have made outstanding contributions to the sustainable development of the Vietnamese business community. This year’s contest attracted more than 500 enterprises of different types and sizes submitted their applications.
CONINCO is proud to be in the Top 10 with VINGROUP; Bao Viet Group; Deloitte Vietnam Company Limited; Urban Infrastructure Development Investment Corporation UDIC - One Member Limited Liability Company; Southern Airports Services Joint Stock Company (SASCO); Phu Nhuan Jewelry Joint Stock Company (PNJ); TNR HOLDINGS VIETNAM; Prudential Vietnam Assurance Private Company Limited and Hanwha Life Insurance Co. Ltd. (Hanwha Life Vietnam). Getting the high ranking is a proof of the right development strategy of the CONINCO, as well as creates the opportunity to raise the prestige and brandname of CONINCO to partners, investors and shareholders, contributing to business development in the direction of sustainability, enhancing the competitiveness of CONINCO in the current context of international economic integration.
"Ranking Sustainable Companies is made by Corporate Sustainability Index (CSI). CSI is one of VCCI's initiatives to promote sustainability in the business community, as a measure of enterprise value based on sustainable development (SD) criteria in the fields of economy, environment and society.
CSI includes criteria that are relevant to the local political and social context as well as international practices, developed and consulted by leading SD experts from VCCI, government agencies, national and international organizations, VCCI members and other independent experts.
The assessment criteria is the CSI which includes 134 criteria developed by economic, social, labor and environmental specialists, etc. The indicators reflect corporate prestige and branding, the ability to attract human resources, the process of operation, potential for future development, social responsibility and environmental responsibility.”
