On April 19, 2019, in Ha Long City, CONSULTANT AND INSPECTION JOINT STOCK COMPANY OF CONSTRUCTION TECHNOLOGY AND EQUIPMENT - CONINCO participated in the Conference of Experiments on Construction Inspection and Monitoring of Construction Works and The 16th Anual Vietnam Construction Quality Conference organized by the State Department of Construction Quality Inspection (Ministry of Construction) in coordination with Quang Ninh Department of Construction.
Attending the Conference, on the side of the Ministry of Construction was Mr. Le Quang Hung - Deputy Minister; Mr. Pham Minh Ha - Director of Department of State expertise of quality of construction works; from Quang Ninh province, there was Mr. Cao Tuong Huy - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
From CONINCO, there were Mr. Le Ngoc Quang - Deputy General Director, Mr. Nguyen Huy Quang - Director of Construction Testing and Testing Center.
This is an annual activity of the VIETNAM NETWORK OF BODIES FOR ASSESSING CONSTRUCTION QUALITY (VNBAC) in order to exchange information and experience in construction and inspection activities in the field of construction works, strengthen the capacity of organize inspection to serve the quality management of construction works and the requirements of inspection and control by the State management agencies on the quality of construction works.
At the Conference, Mr. Cao Tuong Huy - Vice Chairman of Quang Ninh People's Committee spoken that the province is also very interested in quality management, ensuring projects and works that promote good investment efficiency, contribute part promoting socio-economic development in the area. He emphasized that the Conference is a good opportunity to help people in the construction field of Quang Ninh have more knowledge and experience to better manage and professional.
Speaking at the Conference, Deputy Minister of Construction Le Quang Hung said that the inspection network's activities were maintained regularly, usefully, brought practical efficiency, contributed to quality control and quantification of constructions, technological solutions to improve quality nationwide. He highly appreciated the role of the Verification Network in organizing a conference to discuss solutions to remove obstacles in judicial assessment activities on October 19, 2018 in Da Nang, wishing members actively to continue on removing existing difficulties such as capacity building, building a complete and comprehensive system of standards for inspection and construction, ensuring a legal corridor, creating close relationships with localities. .
Some noteworthy presentations at the Workshop include "Cracking of high-rise beam structure: Methods of assessment, prevention and strengthening of structures" of the Institute of Construction Science and Technology - Ministry of Construction; "Cable-stayed bridge monitoring system: Technology solutions and data exploitation for construction, health assessment, work life" of Sai Gon Construction Verification Company; "Guidance on forecasting the remaining life of a project according to the extent of physical damage" of the Center for Construction Technology Management and Construction Verification (the Department of State expertise of construction work quality - Ministry of Construction); and "Discussion on maintenance of high-rise buildings" of the Vietnam Construction Association.
The report of VNBAC notified that, with a total of 244 members, in 2018, the Testing Network has shown the role of connecting organizations and individuals to perform testing and quality control tasks; on the one hand, helping members access information and training to improve their capacity, on the other hand, it helps the State management agency to guide the development of organizations and mobilize members in strengthening construction quality control..
In 2019, VNBAC plans to organize 03 scientific conferences, 03 conferences of the Testing Network, and participate in reviewing a number of other legal documents according to the trend in accordance with current laws and standard, approaching international standards, strengthening the control mechanism of the laboratory activities in reality, increasing sanctions for violations, and developing a number of technical standards and technical processes in the field of testing and testing, planning, construction monitoring.
