CONINCO – Plantec Group (Japan): A New Milestone in Bilateral Cooperation

On the afternoon of March 23, 2026, at the CONINCO TOWER headquarters, the leadership of Consultant and Inspection Joint Stock Company of Construction Technology and Equipment (CONINCO) held a meeting with a high-level delegation from Plantec Group (Japan). This visit further strengthens a long-standing partnership while opening up new strategic opportunities that leverage the combined strengths of two leading construction consultancy firms from Vietnam and Japan in the context of increasing global integration.

The meeting was chaired by Dr. Ha Minh, Chairman of the Board of Directors. Representing CONINCO were Ms. Le Thi Ngoc Bich, Vice Chairwoman; Mr. Nguyen Dang Quang, General Director; Mr. Le Thanh Minh, Deputy General Director and Head of the Chairman’s Office; Ms. Pham Thuy Linh, Manager of the Business Management Department; Ms. Do Thi Ngoc Chau, Deputy Head of the Chairman’s Office; and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Cong Giang, Deputy Director of the T.NC Center.

On the partner side, the delegation from Plantec Group included Mr. Naoyuki Koyama, Chairman and CEO of Plantec Group (Plantec, Inc.); Mr. Hiroyuki Tsurumi, President of Plantec Architects Co., Ltd; Mr. Akihiro Kazama, Managing Director of Plantec Architects Co., Ltd; Mr. Masato Hara, Executive Director of the Plantec Architects Bangkok Representative Office; and Mr. Pham Trong Khanh, Operations and Business Development Manager.

Plantec Group is recognized as one of Japan’s leading architectural and urban development consultancy firms. Since its establishment, Plantec has continuously expanded its global footprint, particularly across the Asia-Pacific region, with an extensive network of offices in Japan and across Southeast Asia. The relationship between CONINCO and Plantec Architects has developed over time through multiple engagements, including high-level exchanges since 2021.

Speaking at the session, Dr. Ha Minh, Chairman of CONINCO, expressed his delight in welcoming Plantec’s senior leadership. Having spent significant time researching and teaching in Japan, Dr. Ha Minh noted his strong appreciation for the disciplined work culture, professionalism, and high level of reliability of Japanese enterprises. He also emphasized his expectation that this partnership will create greater opportunities for CONINCO’s team of engineers and architects to exchange knowledge and experience and apply stringent international standards in project implementation.

Highlighting the group’s core strengths, the Chairman noted that Plantec has extensive expertise in design, Construction Management (CM), and construction supervision. With a strong commitment to expanding its business operations in Vietnam, Plantec is ready to mobilize its resources and collaborate with CONINCO to support Japanese investors and project development in Vietnam.

Discussing the strategic direction of the partnership, Mr. Nguyen Dang Quang, General Director of CONINCO, noted that the current market offers significant opportunities, particularly in data centers, semiconductor manufacturing facilities, and major public investment projects. These sectors involve highly complex technical requirements and stringent international standards. He emphasized that combining CONINCO’s practical experience and in-depth understanding of the local market with Plantec’s advanced technical capabilities and global partner network will form a strong partnership capable of meeting the most demanding requirements of both domestic and international developers.
