The meeting was not only an opportunity to further strengthen the long-standing friendship between the two parties, but also opened up promising new directions for cooperation in the context of the 2026 economic outlook.

Welcoming the delegation, CONINCO was represented by Dr. Ha Minh – Chairman of the Board of Directors; Ms. Le Thi Ngoc Bich – Vice Chairwoman of the Board of Directors; Mr. Nguyen Dang Quang – General Director; Mr. Le Thanh Minh – Deputy General Director and Chief of the BoD Office; and Ms. Do Thi Ngoc Chau – Deputy Chief of the BoD Office.

At the beginning of the meeting, on behalf of Haseko Group, Mr. Nakatsuka Tadashi extended New Year greetings to the leadership and all employees of CONINCO. He expressed his appreciation for the long-standing partnership with CONINCO that has been cultivated over many years, and highly valued the enthusiastic and effective support that CONINCO has provided to Haseko’s personnel and experts during their work in Vietnam. Looking ahead, Haseko expressed its desire to continue contributing to Vietnam’s economic development through high-quality projects, and proposed that CONINCO act as a bridge, providing legal support and consulting services from the early stages of projects.

The leaders of both parties exchanged views during the working session

In response, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of CONINCO, Dr. Ha Minh, shared his heartfelt thoughts about his close ties and special affection for Japan and its people during his years of research and teaching at Saitama University (Japan). He also shared that he had the honor of meeting the late Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, and of working with many Japanese partners, corporations and organizations. The Chairman emphasized that, to date, CONINCO has not only provided construction supervision and design consultancy services, but has also developed comprehensive consulting capabilities to support foreign investors in Vietnam.

Discussing orientations for 2026, the leadership of CONINCO and Haseko shared positive assessments of the economic outlook as well as investment opportunities in the Vietnamese market.
Mr. Nguyen Dang Quang, General Director of CONINCO, drawing on his practical experience in directly working with and managing experts seconded by Haseko in the past, affirmed that a deep understanding of Japanese culture and working practices forms a solid foundation for close and effective cooperation between the two organizations.

Rather than limiting cooperation to technical services alone, CONINCO’s leadership is committed to sharing resources, providing legal roadmap consultancy, and offering maximum support for administrative procedures from the project preparation stage. This is considered a concrete step toward realizing a comprehensive cooperation strategy, enabling Haseko to more effectively implement its new investment plans in Vietnam.

At the end of the meeting, the leaders of both sides agreed to maintain close coordination and regular information sharing in order to jointly develop new projects in the future, and expressed their hope for a breakthrough year in 2026, marked by new successful milestones in the cooperative relationship between CONINCO and HASEKO.
