General Director of CONINCO to inspect the project items which CONINCO performs at Cam Ranh International Airport Project

On March 9, 2017, the delegation of CONINCO including Chairman of the BoM, General Director Nguyen Van Cong, Deputy General Director Nguyen Minh Quan, and CONINCO's supervision consultant team checked the progress of the items CONINCO has implemented at Cam Ranh International Airport and worked with Ministry of Transport led by Minister Truong Quang Nghia.

Currently, Cam Ranh International Passenger Terminal project with a total investment of 3,735 trillion dong, started in September 2016, basically meets the progress until now. Specifically, the contractor has completed 785 bored piles and 322 pile foundation for the entire terminal. The body and the roof of terminal is expected to be completed in June 2017 and October 2017 respectively. It is expected that the whole project will be completed by the end of February 2018 and commissioned by the end of March 2018.

At the meeting, Minister of Transport and Communications Truong Quang Nghia appreciated the efforts of investors in recent years; at the same time, requested these units strictly manage all the costs of the project to facilitate the settlement of investment funds.

As for the current two projects, the investors should focus on solving difficulties to speed up the construction progress and put into operation at the same time, contributing to the infrastructure synchronization and completion of the urgent demands of Cam Ranh International Airport.
