General Director of CONINCO to inspect the Project of Passenger Terminal of Phu Cat Airport

From the beginning of 2017, CONINCO's leaders regularly inspect the projects which CONINCO provides the consulting services nationwide such as Ho Chi Minh City, Can Tho, Da Nang, Vinh, Thanh Hoa ... On April 05, 2017, Chairman of the BoM, General Director Nguyen Van Cong and Deputy General Director Nguyen Minh Quan checked the progress and quality of the Passenger Terminal of Phu Cat Airport - Binh Dinh. CONINCO performs consultancy services for construction supervision and equipment installation at this project.

Up to date, the work is being carried out to the stage of large-scale piling to ensure the schedule of 5 piles per day. Passenger Terminal of Phu Cat Airport is expected to be constructed within 420 days, however, the project is being accelerated to 350 days by the Investor in order to complete and put into use before the 2018 Lunar New Year to serve the travel needs of people and tourists.

At the project, the Chairman of BoM cum General Director urged the staffs to always focus on the work, strictly follow the process, closely monitor the quality of work, labor safety and environmental sanitation in order to meet the next milestone of the project, ensure the prestige and quality for each project that CONINCO provides services.

Passenger Terminal - Phu Cat Airport is designed with 2 floors, inspired from the image of Dan Nam Giao. The first floor has the square representing the land, the second floor has a circle representing the heaven, in the middle of the station there is a circular clear void from the ground floor to the roof of the station to directly absorb light and air, creating the harmony as well as a strong foundation to help Phu Cat Airport to develop stably and sustainably. On the roof of the first floor, the grass and trees make the Passenger Terminal cool in the summer, warm in the winter, at the same time, creating scenery and green space for the terminal.

After being upgraded, the Passenger Terminal of Phu Cat Airport has the capacity to serve 600 passengers in the peak hour with designed capacity of 1.5 million passengers per year, capable of expanding to to 2.4 million passengers per year. The first floor serves passenger arrivals and departures, including the main hall, airplane check-in area, luggage area, ticket counter and security check-in area; The second floor is used as a waiting room for airplanes, business class lounges and commercial services.
