CONINCO’s leaders attend the Seminar on the TCVN System under the new orientation: Accompanying the development of the construction industry

At the end of August 2026, the Ministry of Construction organized the "Seminar on the TCVN System under the new orientation", attracting the participation of a large number of representatives from management agencies, research institutes, enterprises, and leading professional associations. Representing CONINCO, Dr. Ha Minh - Chairman of the Board of Directors and Mr. Nguyen Luong Binh - Deputy General Director attended this event.

The seminar took place under the direct chairmanship of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Minh Ha - Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Construction. At the event, the Deputy Minister informed that the new standards system is oriented to mainly refer to the European standards system, covering important fields such as structural engineering, geotechnics, construction materials, and testing methods. In order to be properly prepared for the publication and application of this substantial volume of standards, the Deputy Minister emphasized the requirement to thoroughly evaluate practical conditions regarding legality, laboratory capacity, the system of norms, and the need to determine an appropriate timing for implementation.

For a leading consulting organization such as CONINCO, the comprehensive change of the TCVN system will directly affect the core service chain from surveying, design, verification, to testing and inspection of construction works. In recognition of this impact, during the discussion session, Dr. Ha Minh - Chairman of the Board of Directors directly shared opinions on the orientation for perfecting the standards set. The comments and critiques were not only derived from practical experience in operating consulting, management, and inspection projects at CONINCO, but were also based on the solid professional foundation of a scientist who had spent 10 years researching and teaching at Saitama University (Japan), with more than 50 international scientific works.

Particularly, in attending this event, besides representing CONINCO, Dr. Ha Minh also directly participated in discussions in his capacity as Vice Chairman and General Secretary of the Vietnam Association of Structural Engineering and Construction Technology (VASECT) and as a representative of the Vietnam Concrete Association (VCA).

The close accompaniment of CONINCO’s leadership at forums for developing Ministerial-level technical frameworks affirms CONINCO's proactiveness in researching and updating the standards system. To be prepared for the implementation roadmap, CONINCO will continue to carry out internal dissemination and training plans to improve the capacity of its experts and engineers, adapt swiftly to the standards system under the new orientation, ensure service quality in CONINCO’s projects, for a safe and sustainable Construction industry of Vietnam.
