General Director Nguyen Dang Quang shares his outlook on Vietnam's construction market in the period ahead

Impressed by the rapid pace of change and development in Hanoi in particular and Vietnam in general, President Jun Shinozaki expressed keen interest in learning more about the State's policies and development orientation going forward.

Addressing this topic, General Director Nguyen Dang Quang shared CONINCO's macro-level forecasts and perspectives. Specifically, Vietnam is aiming to maintain a high growth rate, which will drive substantial investment resources into infrastructure. In addition to public investment capital, the market is witnessing strong participation from private-sector capital through PPP (Public-Private Partnership) arrangements. Recognizing this inevitable trend, CONINCO identifies the following as key sectors expected to attract investment in the coming period: transport infrastructure systems and urban development projects linked to public transit (TOD, Metro); projects aligned with the green transition, smart cities, and the low-carbon circular economy; and data center projects serving the national digital transformation effort.
