On the morning of August 15th, 2023, in Hanoi, the signing ceremony of the contract for "Construction Supervision and Project Management Consultancy" took place between the Investor - Thai Binh Tourism One Member Company Limited and Consultant and Inspection Joint Stock Company of Construction Technology and Equipment – CONINCO for the Huong Binh Cable Car Line construction project. The project aims to connect the Huong Son scenic area (Huong Pagoda) - a special national monument in My Duc District (Hanoi) with Tien Pagoda (a national monument) in Phu Nghia Commune. It is expected to bring about new tourism products and contribute to the local and regional economic and social transformation.

In attendance at the signing ceremony were Mr. Phan Tien Dung - Chairman of Thai Binh Tourism One Member Company Limited; Mr. Nguyen Duy Lap Quoc - Deputy General Director of Real Estate, Pacific Corporation; From CONINCO, there were Mr. Tran Thanh Hai - Deputy General Director, Mr. Nguyen Tuong Anh - Director of Construction Management Center 3 (T.QX3), and Ms. Do Thi Ngoc Chau - Deputy Head of Sales Department.

Overview of the signing ceremony

The Huong Binh Cable Car Project has been approved by the Prime Minister under Decision No. 357/QD-TTg, with Thai Binh Tourism One Member Company Limited as the investor. The project is constructed on an area of approximately 35 hectares, with a total investment of about 1,700 billion Vietnamese Dong. The objective of the Huong Binh Cable Car Line is to connect transportation between two scenic sites, Long Van Pagoda and Tien Pagoda, and enhance the quality of tourism services in the area. The total length of the cable car line is approximately 2.965 kilometers, with 1.486 kilometers located in Hoa Binh Province and 1.479 kilometers in Hanoi City.

The total land area used for the project (including both Hoa Binh and Hanoi ends) is 35.05 hectares. In Hoa Binh province, the land area used is approximately 17.19 hectares, including main components such as the power station, hotels, resorts, restaurants, boat docks, main entrance gate, and service booths. In Hanoi city, the land area used is approximately 17.86 hectares, including main components such as the main station and its functions (administrative office area, ticket counters, medical room, souvenir shops), technical and operational area for the cable car (cabins, technical rooms), reception area and waiting space for passengers before boarding the cabins, cable car facilities (waiting areas), resting booths, and green spaces for landscaping and leisure for tourists.

The cable car is the most advanced form of transportation technology to date, imported synchronously from the Republic of Austria. The project connects the Huong Pagoda area (in Huong Son commune, My Duc district, Hanoi) with the Tien Pagoda area (in Phu Nghia commune, Lac Thuy district, Hoa Binh Province), reducing travel time between the two landmarks from 60 minutes by road to just 10 minutes. It meets the transportation demand of approximately 1,500 - 2,000 passengers per hour, equivalent to 12,000 - 16,000 passengers per day.

As the Construction Supervision and Project Management Consultancy, Mr. Tran Thanh Hai - Deputy General Director of CONINCO, committed to closely coordinating with the Investor and construction units to effectively carry out the tasks in the project, ensuring that the cable car line is completed on schedule, with quality and safety.

Mr. Phan Tien Dung - Chairman of Thai Binh Tourism One Member Company Limited and Mr. Tran Thanh Hai - Deputy General Director of Coninco Joint Stock Company signed a cooperation agreement.

The signing ceremony concluded successfully, and the leaders of all parties expressed their trust and high appreciation for the cooperative relationship that will lead the project to a successful completion.
