The project has the long-term goal of reducing GHG emissions intensity from the construction industry in Vietnam and the direct goal is to improve energy efficiency in commercial buildings and high-rise apartment buildings in Vietnam. Applying and replicating energy saving technology for buildings is one of the three important components of the project.
Talking to Mr. Patrick Haverman, Deputy General Director Nguyen Dang Quang affirmed that CONINCO's participation in the component of Applying and replicating energy saving technology for buildings was a right decision. When participating in the program, the design team of CONINCO and the project's experts calculated solutions from architectural design to choose the best high grade materials in the Vietnamese market, M&E equipment such as: using lowE glass, insulated concrete hollow core walls, high COP VRV Conditioning System, central heat recovery system, low lighting power density with energy efficient LED lights...so that the building can be operated at its best and cost savings for enterprise. Currently, CONINCO TOWER is well appreciated for the air environment as well as the reasonable layout of the lighting, air conditioning system, etc. As a leading consulting company in Vietnam that is also a direct beneficiary of the benefits of energy saving projects, Deputy General Director Nguyen Dang Quang emphasized that the use of energy saving technology is also a factor that creates added value to customers and CONINCO will advise to spread more widely to investors to help form a generation of energy saving projects in Vietnam in the future.
