CONINCO Welcomes and Holds Working Session with High-Level Delegation from Lao National Institute for Economic and Social Sciences

On the morning of May 28, 2026, at the CONINCO Tower headquarters, the Board of Directors of Consultant and Inspection Joint Stock Company of Construction Technology and Equipment (CONINCO) warmly welcomed and held a working session with a high-level delegation from the Lao National Institute for Economic and Social Sciences (LASES). The meeting paves the way for establishing international cooperation between the two sides, particularly in professional expertise and training consultancy, while contributing to deepening the special solidarity and friendship between the two nations.

On the side of the Lao National Institute for Economic and Social Sciences (LASES), the delegation was led by Dr. Leeber Leebouapao – Member of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, Secretary of the Party Committee, and President of LASES. He was accompanied by Mr. Phetsay Phiathep – Chief of Office of LASES; Mr. Bounlath Keo Asa – Head of the Organization and Personnel Department; Dr. Saykham Voladet – Head of the Scientific Management Department; Mr. Ousavanh Thiengthepvongsa – Director of the Socio-Economic Policy Research Institute; Dr. Vilayvone Phommachanh – Director of the Institute of History and Archaeology; Dr. Sivone Ruevaibounthavy – Head of the Secretariat; Ms. Alounyang Yongye – Officer of the International Cooperation Department.
Representing the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences is Mr. Tran Dinh Hung, Deputy Head of the Department of Scientific Management and International Cooperation.
Welcoming and working with the delegation, CONINCO's representatives included Dr. Ha Minh – Chairman of the Board of Directors (BOD); Ms. Le Thi Ngoc Bich – Vice Chairwoman of the BOD; Mr. Le Thanh Minh – Deputy General Director, Chief of the BOD Office; Mr. Nguyen Dac Phuong – Deputy General Director; Mr. Tran Thanh Hai – Deputy General Director; Ms. Pham Thuy Linh – Head of the Business Department; Mr. Nguyen Tien Doat – Chief of Office; and Mr. Dinh Xuan Son – Director of the Construction Inspection Center (T.KC).

Sincere Attachment, Substantive and Comprehensive Cooperation

At the meeting, Dr. Ha Minh – Chairman of the BOD, extended his warmest welcome to the LASES leadership delegation visiting and working at CONINCO. Reviewing the journey of accompanying the Land of a Million Elephants since 2007, the Chairman shared that CONINCO always attaches great importance to the Lao market and has left its mark through impactful projects that contribute to infrastructure development in Laos. This relationship is further reaffirmed through recent high-level diplomatic working visits by CONINCO leaders to Laos, as well as the strategic partnership signing ceremony between CONINCO and a Lao technology enterprise to be held on May 29, 2026, witnessed by leaders of Ministries and sectors from both countries.

In addition to professional orientations, Dr. Ha Minh also expressed his sincere affection and special love for the country, culture, and language of Laos. Built on a close friendship and a business philosophy that promotes sharing, the Chairman affirmed that CONINCO is always ready to contribute its expertise and practical experience to accompany and support LASES in implementing key projects effectively in the near future, while expanding long-term cooperation in training consultancy and scientific research.

Partnering in Key Development Projects

In response to the respectful reception from CONINCO, LASES President Dr. Leeber Leebouapao expressed his impression of the Company's scale, professional working style, and its nearly 50 years of development. LASES is currently a leading institution tasked with crucial duties such as providing strategic policy recommendations to the Lao Party and Government, conducting scientific research, economic forecasting, as well as carrying out training and international cooperation. The LASES President affirmed that accessing and learning from top consulting companies like CONINCO is an important strategic step for the Institute to enhance its practical capacity, better serving the socio-economic development of Laos. To realize this goal, Dr. Leeber Leebouapao proposed moving towards the early signing of a comprehensive Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between LASES and CONINCO.

During the meeting, the LASES President also shared about the bottlenecks in the implementation of the Ethnology Museum project due to the impacts of general economic fluctuations. Listening to the partner's insights, Chairman of the BOD Dr. Ha Minh affirmed that CONINCO is ready to accompany, provide consultancy, and coordinate to resolve difficulties for the project. Practical experiences drawn from key cultural and historical works that CONINCO has been implementing will serve as a solid foundation to support Laos in completing this meaningful project.
On this occasion, Dr. Leeber Leebouapao also respectfully extended an invitation to CONINCO's leadership to visit and directly survey the Museum project in Laos so that the two sides can cooperate more deeply and extensively.

The meeting concluded with great success, reaffirming CONINCO's mission to not only create quality and sustainable works but also act as a bridge connecting and nurturing the fine economic, diplomatic, and cultural relations between the two countries. The event also provides a strong foundation for CONINCO to further expand its reach and assert its position as a leading construction consulting brand of Vietnam on the international stage.
