CONINCO has successfully completed the task consulting project supervision for the Ho Guom Theater project in Hanoi

On the morning of July 9, 2023, the Ho Guom Theater project was officially inaugurated after 22 months of construction, ensuring progress, quality, and safety. This is an important cultural and historical landmark with special significance for the capital city of Hanoi and the country as a whole. It serves as a cultural facility, connecting with other cultural, historical, and architectural landmarks around Hoan Kiem Lake. The Project Management and Investment Center (T.QL) and the Construction Design and Management Center (T.TQ) are the units that have excellently completed the supervision tasks for the project.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Comrade Pham Minh Chinh, Member of the Politburo and Prime Minister; Comrade General To Lam, Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Central Party Committee of the Ministry of Public Security, and Minister of Public Security; Comrade General Phan Van Giang, Member of the Politburo, Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Commission, and Minister of National Defense; Comrade Dinh Tien Dung, Member of the Politburo and Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee; along with Party Central Committee members, heads of ministries, departments, and agencies under the Government, representatives from the Government Office, Ministry of Public Security, Ministry of National Defense, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and other units involved in the project.
From CONINCO, there were Mr. Phan Ngoc Cuong, a Member of the Board of Directors and General Director; Mr. Le Ngoc Anh, Director of the Project Management and Investment Center (T.QL), and the project's consulting team.
Ho Guom Theater is located at 40-40A Hang Bai, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi, with a total area of over 5,000 square meters. It consists of six above-ground floors and three basement levels. The theater includes a large and small reception hall, backstage area, parking basement, versatile spaces, and rest areas. It is the first theater in Vietnam equipped with internationally standardized and high-quality sound and amplification equipment. The theater will serve as a venue for artistic performances, both domestic and international, as well as for hosting political, cultural, and artistic programs organized by the Party, State, Ministry of Public Security, and Hanoi City, including conferences, seminars, cultural events, and art performances. It will also function as an international conference center.
"Ho Guom Theater provides a modern and traditional cultural and artistic space that is both youthful and elegant, making it a rendezvous point for top artists and art troupes." It attracts the attention of people from all walks of life as well as international visitors. The Ho Guom Theater project will also become a tourist attraction, contributing to the promotion of culture, tourism, and socio-economic development of not only Hanoi but also the whole country.
Continuing to earn the trust of the Ministry of Public Security and the Hanoi People's Committee, CONINCO was entrusted with the task of providing supervision services. Recognizing the significant importance of the project and the role of supervision consulting in the success of a long-lasting construction, throughout the 22-month construction period, CONINCO's leadership regularly inspected the construction site and provided close guidance to ensure the successful completion of the project. Despite facing various difficulties during the implementation, particularly the temporary suspension of construction due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, with experience, effort, and professionalism, CONINCO's consulting team, together with other participating units, closely coordinated with the Investor and relevant authorities to accelerate the progress. They worked tirelessly day and night, proposing technically appropriate solutions in line with project requirements, closely monitoring each item, and controlling and urging the construction units to ensure compliance with design specifications, technical standards, progress, and safety, and achieve the highest efficiency.
During the inauguration ceremony, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh highly appreciated the efforts and dedication of the relevant units involved in completing the Ho Guom Theater project. The Prime Minister expressed trust and the desire for the Ho Guom Theater to commence its operations, meeting the cultural and artistic needs of not only the officers and soldiers of the People's Public Security but also the people of the capital city and the whole country in terms of aesthetic enjoyment.
The success of the Ho Guom Theater project today is a result of collective efforts, unity, effective collaboration, strong determination, and the aspiration to bring a high-quality, prestigious, distinct, and enduring architectural work to Hanoi. Minister of Public Security, General To Lam, affirmed that the project was completed on schedule, ensuring international quality standards and labor safety, thanks to the high level of responsibility of the participating units. Recognizing their contributions, CONINCO, as the consulting firm, excellently fulfilled its duties and was honored to receive an award from Minister of Public Security, General To Lam, during the topping-out and inauguration ceremonies of the project.
