CONINCO implements Supervision Consultancy for Component 2 - Long Thanh International Airport Phase 1 Flight Management Works

Component project 2 "Flight management works" under the project "Long Thanh International Airport Phase 1", officially started by Vietnam Flight Management Corporation (VATM) as the investor. on September 29, 2022, in Long Thanh district, Dong Nai province. This is a special traffic project, which is of great significance to the socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security. Consultant and Inspection Joint Stock Company of Construction Technology and Equipment - CONINCO undertakes the task of consulting and supervising this important project. Deputy General Director Nguyen Minh Quan and Construction Supervision CONINCO delegation attended the groundbreaking ceremony.
Component project 2 "Flight management works" under the project "Long Thanh International Airport Phase 1" has a total investment of nearly 3,500 billion VND. Investment projects in construction and technological equipment: Air traffic control tower and auxiliary items (ATCT); Primary/Secondary Radar Station and VHF Air-Ground Radio Station (PSR/SSR/Tx); VHF air-to-ground radio receiver and dependent Automatic Monitoring System (Rx/ADS-B); Meteorological radar station; Omnidirectional navigation and rangefinders (DVOR/DME); Multipoint monitoring system (MLAT); Automatic weather monitoring system (AWOS); Wind breaking warning system; The system to connect information and data between the works to ensure flight operations; Medium voltage power supply system for buildings to ensure flight operations.
Component project 2 "Flight management works" has a total area of about 70,000m2. In which, the main project is the Air Traffic Control Tower and ancillary works with an area of 24,000 m2, built to control activities in the movement area of aircraft at the airport and operate flying in the airspace of the airport.
The project is designed according to the idea of the lotus bud shape with colors and architectural structures in harmony with the passenger terminal and surrounding works. The control tower has a height of 123 m, equipped with radar on the top of the tower, the construction area is about 80 m2, the diameter of the tower body is about 10 m, the control cabin in the yard has an area of about 150 m2 and 2 control cabins with an area of each cabin about 70 m2. The equipment systems are designed according to the most modern automation technology today and have an open orientation to invest in future technology.
Investing in the construction of "Flight management facilities" is an indispensable requirement when investing in the construction of "Long Thanh International Airport", with the goal of building a successful Long Thanh International Airport. Level 4F according to ICAO's decentralization, plays the role of a large and important gateway international airport of the country, aiming to become one of the international air transshipment centers of the region in phase 2 and phase 3 of the project.
