CONINCO participates in the 2nd National Urban Forum in Laos.

From the 2nd to the 8th of October 2023, Deputy General Director Nguyen Dac Phuong and the CONINCO consulting delegation, representing the Consultant and Inspection Joint Stock Company of Construction Technology and Equipment - CONINCO, attended the 2nd National Urban Forum held at the ITECC Exhibition Center in Laos. The forum was organized with the aim of addressing the challenges and providing directions for urbanization in Laos. At the forum, CONINCO also showcased an exhibition booth to introduce the company's capabilities and experiences, attracting the attention of leaders the Ministry of Public Works and Transport of Laos and other delegates attending the forum.

The forum consists of various sessions, chaired by government agencies such as the Ministry of Public Works and Transport, as well as United Nations agencies (UN-HABITAT, UNOPS, UNDP, WHO, UNEP, ESCAP, UNFPA, OHCHR, UNICEF, WFP, and FAO), JICA, Global Shapers, the Indian Embassy, the National University of Laos, and the Association of Architects and Engineers in Laos.

Consultant and Inspection Joint Stock Company of Construction Technology and Equipment – CONINCO, has made significant contributions to the economic and social development of Laos through nearly 20 years of effective cooperation with key projects and nearly 10 years of establishment and development in the ry. This has helped strengthen the great friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos. In recent years, CONINCO has participated as an international consulting company in the Greater Mekong Subregion Corridor Towns Development Project Phase IV (GMS4-CTDP), funded by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) for Laos. In the future, the construction market in Laos is expected to continue developing with funding sources not only the Lao government and investors but also Vietnam and international organizations (such as the World Bank, ADB, JICA, etc.). This presents an opportunity for foreign businesses in general, and specifically for CONINCO, to access, promote, and develop. CONINCO is prepared with both human resources and material resources to undertake important projects in Laos. In addition to its team of competent and experienced consulting engineers, CONINCO also possesses a group of experts who are currently working on ODA-funded projects international organizations. In the near future, these experts and engineers will contribute to projects in Laos, especially international projects focusing on social and environmental improvement and climate change mitigation.

Visiting CONINCO's booth at the exhibition, Vice Minister Vilaykham Phosalath of the Ministry of Public Works and Transport of the Lao PDR expressed her desire for CONINCO, with its capabilities and experience, to participate in more projects in Laos in order to contribute to the construction industry and the friendly relations between the two ries.
