CONINCO – An Huy Research institute (China): Promoting cooperation in the field of Technology inspection

On the morning of September 30, 2025, Consultant and inspection joint stock company of construction technology and equipment - CONINCO held a working session with the delegation from An Huy Construction Technology Research and Inspection Institute Co., Ltd. (China). The session aimed to exchange, learn, and open strategic cooperation opportunities between the two units in the field of construction inspection.
Welcoming the delegation, from CONINCO were Deputy General Directors: Mr. Nguyen Dang Quang, Mr. Le Ngoc Quang, Mr. Le Thanh Minh; along with leaders from the Business Department, Architecture Center No. 1 (T.A1); and the Survey and Design Center (T.TN).
From An Huy construction technology research and inspection institute, the delegation included Mr. Wu Dongbiao – Deputy Party Secretary, General Director, Chief Engineer; Mr. Li Tianbao – Director, Senior Manager; and Mr. Xia Ridong – Deputy General Director, Deputy Chief Economist of the Urban construction comprehensive institute.
In an open atmosphere, Deputy General Director Nguyen Dang Quang introduced the nearly half-century development history of CONINCO with a scale of nearly 1,400 staff and multi-disciplinary, multi-service capabilities, being one of Vietnam's leading construction consulting companies. In response, Mr. Wu Dongbiao also shared about An Huy Research Institute, established in 1952, with a strong professional team of over 500 professors and associate professors, proudly being a Class A Level 1 inspection unit in China. The institute has particular strengths in areas such as weak foundation treatment, drainage system inspection, high-speed rail, and owns many advanced technologies with over 20 patents.
Based on understanding the capabilities and development orientations of both sides, CONINCO and An Huy Research Institute discussed in-depth directions for cooperation. Accordingly, Deputy General Director Le Ngoc Quang and Mr. Wu Dongbiao both recognized the potential in the field of testing and inspection for key infrastructure projects such as expressways, high-speed railways... This is an opportunity for both sides to share in-depth expertise in aspects that are strengths of each country, thereby learning and perfecting their own standards systems. CONINCO expressed a desire to absorb experience from Chinese standards, while the An Huy partner affirmed readiness to share information on complex technical issues.
At the end of the working session, leaders of both units proposed signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to create a premise for bilateral activities. The initial coordination content will focus on exchanging project information, professional exchanges, and jointly supporting the construction and perfection of technical standards systems. The first meeting took place successfully, laying the foundation for a strong and effective partnership between CONINCO and An Huy Research institute in the future.
