Upgrading the Strategic Partnership between CONINCO and HANLIM (South Korea)

To further strengthen the cooperative relationship with Consultant and Inspection Joint Stock Company of construction technology and equipment (CONINCO., Jsc) and with the desire to bring about practical and effective collaboration between the two companies, Mr. Park Jin Sun, Chairman of HANLIM Group (South Korea), held a working session at CONINCO on the afternoon of July 9th, 2024, during his visit and working trip to Vietnam. 

Accompanying Mr. Park Jin Sun were Mr. Yoo Kyung Kwon – Chairman of HANLIM Vietnam, and Ms. Nguyen Thuy Anh – Senior Architect.

On CONINCO's side, the delegation was welcomed by Mr. Phan Ngoc Cuong - Member of the Board of Directors, General Director; Mr. Nguyen Manh Tuan - Member of the Board of Directors, Deputy General Director; Mr. Le Thanh Minh - Deputy General Director - Head of the Board of Directors Office; Ms. Pham Thuy Linh - Head of Business Development; Mr. Nguyen Tuan Ngoc - Director of the Underground Works Center; Ms. Do Thi Ngoc Chau - Deputy Head of Business Development; and Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Binh - Deputy Director of the Underground Works Center.

Vietnam and South Korea have enjoyed a bilateral relationship for over three decades, which has become a model for exemplary relations between two East Asian countries. Vietnam always welcomes South Korean businesses to invest and expand their market presence in the country. Enterprises both nations, in general, and the relationship between CONINCO and South Korean partners, in particular, have reaped achievements in economic cooperation, human resource training, and technology transfer. During the working session at CONINCO, General Director Phan Ngoc Cuong conveyed greetings Mr. Nguyen Van Cong, Chairman of the Board of Directors, to Mr. Park Jin Sun, Chairman of HANLIM, expressing his hope for fruitful exchange and successful agreements on future cooperation between the two companies.

Mr. Park Jin Sun expressed his gratitude to CONINCO's leadership for the warm welcome extended to HANLIM during this working visit. After watching a video showcasing CONINCO's 45 years of development and achievements, along with listening to the report from Mr. Yoo Kyung Kwon - Chairman of HANLIM Vietnam following his meeting with CONINCO, Mr. Park Jin Sun expressed his desire to collaborate with a capable local consulting firm experienced in various construction sectors like CONINCO. This partnership aims to enhance the competitiveness of both companies and jointly implement upcoming potential projects. Furthermore, he shared insights into the operations of HANLIM Group in South Korea and its nine branches worldwide, outlining the Group's development orientations. He expressed his hope that HANLIM and CONINCO could collaborate not only on projects in Vietnam but also expand to other countries like Myanmar, India, and Bangladesh.

Expressing gratitude for the Chairman of HANLIM's sharing, General Director Phan Ngoc Cuong affirmed that CONINCO stands as a leading consulting company in Vietnam within the construction consultancy field, specializing in civil, industrial, transportation, technical infrastructure, and airport construction. With a team of over 1,000 engineers and architects, CONINCO is confident in its ability to meet the resources, capacity, and expertise required to execute projects in Vietnam and other countries in the region. Furthermore, CONINCO has a successful track record of collaborating with South Korean partners and major corporations worldwide. Therefore, CONINCO wholeheartedly welcomes the opportunity to partner with HANLIM to jointly develop projects in Vietnam and potentially expand further within the region.

In an atmosphere of trust, sincerity, and openness, the leaders of both sides engaged in in-depth discussions regarding future collaborative projects and new potential ventures. Based on their respective capabilities, experience, and the fruitful exchange, along with strong belief in the future of the partnership between the two companies, the Chairman of HANLIM and the General Director of CONINCO agreed to bolster cooperation through the signing of a Strategic cooperation agreement. This agreement will serve as a foundation to unlock future development opportunities.
