Nippon Steel & Sumikin Pipe Vietnam visits and works at CONINCO

On December 13th, 2016, representatives of Nippon Steel & Sumikin Pipe Vietnam Co., Ltd visited and worked at the Headquarters of Consultant and Inspection Joint Stock Company of Construction Technology and Equipment (CONINCO., JSC).
Attending the meeting, regarding Nippon Steel & Sumikin Bussan Co., Ltd, there was Mr. Takeshi Kono – Chief cum Director of Representative Office in Hanoi.
Regarding Nippon Steel & Sumikin Pipe Vietnam Co., Ltd, there were Mr. Sei Hiraoka – Chief of Representative Office in Ho Chi Minh city and Hanoi, Director of Business & Marketing, Mr. Tomoya Tominaga – Director of Technical Assistance.
Welcoming the delegation, regarding CONINCO, there were Dr. Ha Minh – Member of BoM, Deputy General Director, Dr. Duong Trong Vinh – Deputy Director of Center of International Cooperation and Consultancy, as well as other member of Center of International Cooperation and Consultancy.
CONINCO and Nippon Steel & Sumikin Pipe Vietnam Co., Ltd have a good cooperation and up to date, both parties are collaborating to formulate Vietnamese Standard (TCVN) regarding steel scaffolding and falsework in housing and public construction.
During this visit, representatives of Nippon Steel & Sumikin Pipe Vietnam Co., Ltd sent wishes of Happy New Year 2017 to CONINCO, as well as expressed willingess to continue collaborating more with CONINCO in many fields.
Representatives of CONINCO, Dr. Ha Minh - Member of BoM, Deputy General Director gave thanks to the delegations of Nippon Steel & Sumikin Pipe Vietnam. The meeting took place in the earnest and open atmosphere, both parties agreed to collaborate in on-going fields and exchange project information as well as cooperation opportunities in the near future.
Nippon Steel & Sumikin Pipe Vietnam Co., Ltd is one company of Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metal Corporation (NSSMC) to manufacture steel plate and steel sheet pile,… Nippon Steel & Sumikin Pipe Vietnam Co., Ltd formed a joint venture with Vietnam Steel Corporation (VNSteel) and five Japanese commercial companies (Metal One Corporation, Sumitomo Corporation, Marubeni-Itochu Steel Inc., Hanwa Co., Ltd and Nippon Steel & Sumikin Bussan Co., Ltd).
Nippon Steel & Sumikin Pipe Vietnam Co., Ltd has obtained an investment license from Ba Ria-Vung Tau Industrial Zone Authority (BIZA) in 2010, has started operation of the factory in 2011. This is the first production base on NSSMC’s steel for construction uses outside of Japan.
