PowerChina Huadong Engineering Institute Visits and Works with CONINCO

On the afternoon of 2025-08-27, at its headquarters in CONINCO Tower, the Consultant and Inspection Joint Stock Company of Construction Technology and Equipment (CONINCO., Jsc) welcomed and held discussions with the delegation from PowerChina Huadong Engineering Co., Ltd. (Huadong Engineering Institute under PowerChina Group), China. The meeting opened up potential partnerships between the two sides in construction consultancy, particularly for major transport infrastructure projects in Vietnam. 

Attending on the partner’s side were: 

Mr. Yao Youngding – General Director of the Overseas Transport Division; 
Mr. Luo Cheng – Representative of the Vietnam Transport Division; 
Mr. Li Yi – Representative of the Asia-Pacific Transport Division. 

Representing CONINCO were: 

Mr. Trần Thanh Hải – Deputy General Director; Director of the Railway Engineering Consulting Center (T.RC); 
Mr. Nguyễn Đắc Phương – Deputy General Director; Director of Project Engineering Center (T.KC);
Ms. Đỗ Thị Ngọc Châu – Deputy Head of the Business Management Department; 
Mr. Đinh Xuân Sơn – Deputy Director in charge of the Project Engineering Center (T.KC); 
Mr. Phạm Tiến Quỳnh – Deputy Director of the Railway Engineering Consulting Center (T.RC).

Opening the session in a spirit of open exchange to explore bilateral capacities, Deputy General Director Nguyễn Đắc Phương welcomed the delegation from Huadong Engineering Institute to CONINCO. He also introduced CONINCO’s capabilities through a short film, presenting its history of development, fields of activity, and representative projects. 

Mr. Yao Youngding, General Director of the Overseas Transport Division, thanked CONINCO for the warm welcome and shared information about the company’s capacity and experience in infrastructure, transport, and energy. He particularly highlighted major railway projects they had participated in, expressing the desire to seek partnerships with reputable enterprises like CONINCO to expand in the Vietnamese market. 

Sharing with the partner, Deputy General Director Trần Thanh Hải emphasized that with its experience and position as a leading construction consultancy in Vietnam, CONINCO always seeks to work with reputable international partners for mutual growth. Accordingly, the two sides discussed potential cooperation in implementing design consultancy projects in the urban railway sector and infrastructure projects under preparation in Vietnam. 

The working session concluded successfully, marking an important first step and laying the groundwork for future collaboration between the two companies.
