As part of a series of collaborative activities focused on training and developing high-quality human resources, on the afternoon of February 27, 2026, Consultant and Inspection Joint Stock Company of Construction Technology and Equipment (CONINCO) welcomed a delegation of lecturers and students from Vietnam Japan University (VJU) – Vietnam National University, Hanoi, for a field trip and career orientation session.
The VJU delegation was led by Dr. Nguyen Tien Dung, a lecturer from the Faculty of Advanced Technology and Engineering, accompanied by students from the "Civil Engineering" program. This visit was conducted within the framework of the university's "Career Orientation Internship" module and serves as a vivid testament to the strong spirit of cooperation established in the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed between CONINCO and VJU.
During the meeting, VJU students had the opportunity for a direct exchange with Dr. Ha Minh – Chairman of the Board of CONINCO. Beyond leading one of Vietnam's top consulting firms, Dr. Ha Minh is an esteemed scientist and expert with 10 years of research and teaching experience at Saitama University, Japan. With over 50 published international scientific works and invaluable practical experience gained from traveling to more than 60 countries and territories, the Chairman provided these future engineers with realistic, profound, and inspiring perspectives.
In the session, Dr. Ha Minh outlined a comprehensive panorama of the current construction market, highlighting the core roles of consulting and inspection in ensuring the quality, safety, and longevity of structures. He emphasized CONINCO's corporate philosophy, "Assurance for the future," while delivering a powerful message to the youth: "Change to Lead." This entails a readiness to adapt to digital transformation and the application of advanced technologies to solve complex national infrastructure challenges and confidently step onto the global stage.
Beyond technical expertise, Dr. Ha Minh dedicated significant time to "ignite the fire" and guide VJU students on their career development paths. Drawing from his flexible and professional management experience, the Chairman offered sincere advice on work ethics, valuing dedication, honesty, and continuous innovation. He affirmed that CONINCO's human development goal is to mold engineers who are not only technically proficient but also deeply conscious of sustainable development and social responsibility.
During the exchange, students also listened to insights from Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Cong Giang – Deputy Director of CONINCO’s Center for Scientific and Technological Research and Training (T.NC). He is an expert with a wealth of practical and academic experience closely tied to Japan, having been an intern, Master’s student, and PhD candidate at Aichi Institute of Technology and Muroran Institute of Technology. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Cong Giang was formerly a Senior Lecturer at Hanoi University of Architecture and held positions such as Chief Representative of Nikken Sekkei Civil (Japan) in Vietnam and Senior Expert at the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology. His sharing helped VJU students gain a deeper understanding of Japanese-standard corporate culture and working environments, as well as valuable expertise in construction technology and engineering.
On behalf of the delegation, Dr. Nguyen Tien Dung expressed his deep gratitude to CONINCO's leadership and specifically to Chairman Dr. Ha Minh for their constant support in providing students with practical exposure. This close cooperation with leading universities like VJU is how CONINCO "sows seeds" for the next generation, furthering the philosophy of "Sharing to Connect" with the community.
The visit on February 27 was the first in a series of three field learning sessions for VJU students at CONINCO. This event not only strengthens the Vietnam-Japan strategic partnership but also reaffirms CONINCO's commitment to social responsibility, walking hand-in-hand with leading educational institutions to nurture a talented generation of civil engineers for the country's overall development.
