On the evening of May 20, 2025, the Hanoi Opera House was the focal point of the architecture industry as it hosted the National Architecture Awards Ceremony 2024–2025. The event was attended by Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha, leaders of Central Ministries, Departments, and Hanoi City, along with professional associations. This is the most official, prestigious, and longest-standing award in the State award system for architecture, organized by the Vietnam Association of Architects, the Ministry of Construction, and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. The award not only honors outstanding architectural works but also reflects the continuous efforts of architects in building a modern Vietnamese culture rich in national identity.
CONINCO—one of the leading firms in the Vietnamese architecture industry—affirmed its position by winning two prestigious awards:
● The Phu Bai International Airport Terminal 2 Passenger Building project, excellently designed by the Joint Venture CONINCO–AZUSA SEKKEI, received the Gold award in the special architectural works category.
● The Headquarters of the Supreme People's Court project, designed by the Joint Venture CONINCO–INROS LACKNER, was honored with the Bronze award in the public architecture category.
Phu Bai International Airport Terminal 2 Passenger Building: An Architectural Masterpiece, Embodying Harmony Between Modernity and Tradition
The project, designed by the team of Kyo Ariyoshi, Nguyen Dang Quang, Hiroyuki Enomoto, and Pham Tien Thang of the Joint Venture CONINCO – AZUSA SEKKEI, drew inspiration from the local geographical and cultural context, including:
· The Ngu Binh Mountain cluster and surrounding mountains
· The majestic nature of the Perfume River
· The historical imperial architectural complex of the Hue Ancient Capital
· Motifs symbolizing Hue culture
These motifs were developed in various design elements of the building and were expressed as a theme to enhance the project's value. The exterior architecture of the building was inspired by Hue Imperial Palace architecture, characterized by overlapping and expansive roof layers, symbolizing the aspiration for renewal of an ancient city.
The design not only focused on functionality but also honored the natural beauty of the Thua Thien Hue region. Soft design lines, combined with open spaces, created a feeling of closeness and friendliness, contributing to enhancing the passenger experience.

Headquarters of the Supreme People's Court: A Modern, Majestic Project Deeply Embodying the Spirit of "Supremacy of Law"
The project, designed by the team of Nguyen Dang Quang, Torsten Illgen, and Tran Duc Tai of the Joint Venture CONINCO – INROS LACKNER, features a harmonious and unique design in a neoclassical architectural style compatible with the architecture of the building at 48 Ly Thuong Kiet, forming a unified complex featuring an intersection between old and new architecture.
Both buildings are designed symmetrically around a central axis, creating balance. The facades of the buildings feature a neoclassical style, with spacious and comfortable architectural design meeting aesthetic requirements, possessing stature and solemnity, befitting its status as the highest judicial body of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
The main lobby area of the new building is designed with an open concept, leading to the Garden of Justice. This garden is surrounded by the two buildings, and the highlight is a fountain featuring the character "Tâm" (Heart/Mind) in the center, creating a green, environmentally friendly landscape space. Additionally, 7 ethical standards for judges are inscribed on stone steles.
